How about 12 wraps, 27g 16 gauge Blunt Tip Luer Lock Needle 1.5 ohm.
I am not real happy with the amount of time it takes to heat up.I do like the diameter of the needle. I think that next time, I will go back to 30g. The smaller gauge would be great for a lower ohm coil. My coils are lasting about 1-2 weeks, with the cotton lasting 1-2 days. Vapor production and flavor is basically the same between 27 and 30g wire. It is just the amount of time it takes to heat up the coil. I also notice more battery drain on the 27g, probably caused by the longer heat time, requiring longer power cycles.
Let me say thanks again for the samples super!
Nice work Sam. You got skillz bro
Making a coil is a whole lot more fun than packin and crackin a pack of smokes yeah?
I found that the 27 did take slightly longer to heat up too, but liked the burly simplicity of wrapping with it. And yes, I also like the 17 ga needle. I seemed to have acclimated to coils around 1.2 ohms with 27 and 2 ohms with 30. Here's my theory on that:
The 30 heats up right away so I'm getting the full heat of 2 ohms in my drag.
The 27 has only partially heated by the time I'm finished my drag so I'm not fully experiencing the 1 ish ohm heat.
You're welcome bro
