Thing is, will the SVD2 deliver flavor like the SVD?
The SVD is still my fav, even with the button problems they have. For some reason I can put a tank from any of my mods on the SVD and the flavor is just plain (very noticeably) superior. No clue why. It just is what it is.

So will the SVD2 deliver the same? No clue here either. I have my order in so time will tell.

I've noticed the same thing with the MVP and other devices.

My MVP 2 was running strong as a backup to my mech until this weekend. I put a basic Nautilus Mini BVC on and I get 0.0 on the Ohm readout. If I unscrew the tank about half way out of the 510, it picks it up at the proper resistance which allows it to fire. Not sure what is wrong at the 510, but I can't use it anymore if I have to unscrew my tank halfway. Tried multiple different tanks, same. Weird.

The 510 connector pin on the MVP is a known problem spot. Click on my blogs to read a full write up on the fix options.

Yup. That's why my sig shows the MVP as #2 on my fav list. Beat only by the SVD. Jury is still out on the istick but it sure isn't down very far.

I might be the only guy in the thread who doesnt mind the MVP's fire button :p

I have an istick on the way, but I still think my mvp will be my favorite. Smoother vape (since an istick is a rattlesnaker as I understand), and as long as your coil is 1.8 to 2.2 ohms, you can get your full wattage range with the mvp (or very close). The istick from what I understand can only hit 20 watts with certain ohm coils, but in order to hit the low end of the wattages youd need a higher ohm coil, etc. I also like the size of the mvp- the smaller istick im going to be more worried about knocking it over.

That said, im not ragging on the istick- I do look forward to mooor watz for 28 guage coils and possibly dual coils :D It looks like a nice piece of kit and it means I finally will have a backup apv to go with my 4 clearos :p

I thought I was the only one who felt that way about the SVD  My second SVD just failed recently  so I've had to go back to using my MVP 2, and no matter what I set it at I just can't get the same flavor I did from my SVD's. If you ever find anything that is comparable I would love to hear about it :)

The MVP fire button is a major problem for those of us who no longer have young, healthy hands. I did get an Istick to tr, and the power settings are very wonky in the lower range. I got it mostly to use with my full sized Nautilus for days when I'm out and about and the VV v3's battery life is a problem, since the MVP button, even well padded, is a major problem for me.

I'm really underwhelmed by the Istick, and still waiting to hear about whether the MVP3 will have a fire button that I can use.

My MVPs that are months old and have been used seem to have a softer button press than when they were new.

So give your MVPs to friends and tell them to give them back when they're broken in.

Friends? What are friends? Seriously, no vaping friends, but I have used the MVPs quite a bit (just not for very long at a time) and haven't noticed any softening yet.

Yeah, everyone I know either smokes or has no use for nicotine. I have tried to get some people over to vaping (have got one started), but most people seem to be "eh- I like smoking." ...?? I was stoked when I found an alternative!

Mine has softened up a little bit over the 6 months ive had it. At first it was a little stiff even for my liking, but either I got used to it or everyday usage broke it in. At least we dont have button problems like a number of other mods :D

I do understand that it can be a pain for many of you cats with hand issues- for that reason alone I would support Innokin making the MVP3 have a softer button press, even if that means I have to "lock" it when I take it places (dont really need to now). IMO the MVP series is the halmark of a reliable and easily-used-by-everyone mod, so it should target the largest possible user-base it can :)

Hitting something odd with my MVP. I'll hit it a couple times, then go to hit it again and the light will flash green then yellow then red, and the display screen shows just random lines? It's fine after that for the next hit. It happened last night and I thought the battery was dead, since the battery was low, but the battery is showing 4.1 right now and it did it again.

Hey everyone, I've recently started using my MVP 2 as my sole device again, after my 2nd SVD finally gave out

I've only had to charge it a couple times since I started using it again, but this last time I reset the puff counter so I could see how many vapes I'm getting off a full charge, and I only got just under 700 before the light turned red. Is this normal for an MVP that's only been charged 20-30 times at the most? I remember getting over 1000 when I first got it (back in june). I'm vaping at 3.6v on a 2.2-2.4Ω coil if it matters.

whats the safest way to charge an mvp 2.0 ? via usb port on pc or via wall charger ?
im charging it via usb port on pc , I know it takes time to charge but I am not a heavy vaper , I only charge it once a week.

I'm quite sure charging it via the laptop's USB port is perfectly safe for the MVP, but I've heard that it might not be completely safe for your laptop. I can't remember the exact details, but I do remember someone saying something along the lines of "I'd rather risk a $3 wall wart over my $1000 laptop". I may be remembering wrong, but to be safe I only ever charge my MVP with my smartphone's wall wart.

If you want the batteries to last as long as possible, then keep the voltage low.

I think Table 4 puts it best...
How to Prolong Lithium-based Batteries - Battery University

I'm not sure what voltage/wattage settings you were using, or how long your drags were when you got 1000 puffs on the counter... but both of those variables would factor in... as well... I figure the general charge cycle you follow would also impact the battery as shown in my above quote. If you click the link to see my original post, I actually rebuilt the table... but I 'quoted' it, so it doesn't show up.

I have had a poor success rate with smokers. I keep hearing "It is just as bad for you as cigarettes" or "rolling my own is cheaper". It appears the ANTZ sound bites are hurting the effort to convert smokers.
