I have had a poor success rate with smokers. I keep hearing "It is just as bad for you as cigarettes" or "rolling my own is cheaper". It appears the ANTZ sound bites are hurting the effort to convert smokers.
Same here. Or they say somethig like "I have a Blu in my glove compartment but I haven't really tried it." NO! Blu is NOT going to tell you what vaping really is! Then I see them days, weeks later outside in rain or nasty weather puffing away on their cigarettes while I am indoors vaping away.

I have an istick on the way, but I still think my mvp will be my favorite.

Well...for me...once I got my (first) iStick...my MVP2 feels like a brick!!!

I did get an Istick to tr, and the power settings are very wonky in the lower range.

still waiting to hear about whether the MVP3 will have a fire button that I can use.

iStick power settings...see #414:

sure seems like a lot of trouble, think i'll just stick with the MVP....and if mine ever goes bad i'll just buy another :)
Yeah, that chart linked above seems wonky. Thats part of the beauty with the MVP line- for the most part it just works. I know the MVP can hit watt/amp/volt limits in certain coil configs, but its usually stellar.

For the cheap price, 20 watts, and gaining a backup, I thought id give the istick a shot. I am eager to hear about the MVP3's price and specs though :D
Istick... close but no cigar. Not a bad piece but doesn't seem to put out the flavor I'm used to with innokin products.

Really? Learn somethin' new every day. I dont see how the AVP can affect flavor (is it how well the MVP regulates the output voltage vs rattlesnake mods?)- I always thought that was strictly in the domain of what clearo/carto/RBA/RDA you use.

Its funny too because what you think is awesome isnt always the case- my Russian 91% definitely puts out more vapor, an easier draw, and a quicker heatup than any of my other clearos (it is an RBA after all). That said, the Protank 2 consistently puts out slightly better flavor.

Ill be interested to see how the istick affects things. My plan has been istick + russian -and- mvp + protank2.

Your guess is as good as mine as far as why different mods put out different flavor with the same juice. Better regulation? All I know is no matter what I put on my SVD's it's better than any other mod I own. Tanks make sense but mods... no clue.

I look forward to the MVP 3. I have to say that the eleaf istick has shown me that 20 watts is more than enough for me. I often find myself on the high side of the MVP2's range, and am really liking quick heat-ups with 28 guage (gonna try 26) wire on the istick :D

That said, the regulation of the istick is inferior to the MVP, and you really need to mess with gauges, wrap counts, and coil diameter to get the right wattage range. The MVP 3 will be the best of both worlds. Since this thread carries "next generation" in the title, I feel entitled to share my thoughts on this here :p

I like the istick's form factor, but I will say I like the position of the MVPs fire button better. Have the MVP rigged up with the protank and the istick using the russian 91%, so all is good in my vape world :vapor:

One month into vaping...WOW...you're pretty "advanced". (I only got my first MVP2 after I had been vaping 8-9 months.)

If you get to the point where you're considering another (back-up?) Mod...you may want to consider an iStick.

I loved my Nauty Mini (BVC 1.8Ω) at 11Watts on my MVP2.

But at 12-13Watts on my iStick...vaping goes to another "dimension"!!!

(YMMV, of course)

Hey guys! I've been MIA from the forum lately. Thought I would pop in and say hi and wish everyone Happy Holidays!:)

My MVP's are going strong and I still love them so much.

I have a huge family with lots and lots of grandchildren, 19 to be exact, so the holiday season and Christmas is a busy, busy time for me. Lots of presents to buy and wrap, and baking cookies and candy, too.

So f$!#*&g mad right now... I had my MVP 2 in the inside pocket of my Carhart coat, went to DQ to get drinks... Well, somehow one of the 44oz Dr Peppers got a whole poked in the bottom and managed to leak down the side of me and, ironically enough, right down the drip tip whole on my Aerotank... Dumb ... me thought there was just soda on the outside of it, I dried it off and when I went to fire it, the led light stayed on, went from green to yellow to off and now does nothing... DAMN IT!!!

ouch... sadness... I feel for you. On the lighter side of things... a lot of sales being ran right now and coming up.

When an MVP2 dies, are we supposed to pour out a bit of our juice from a bottle in remembrance?

Hey folks.

Today I got my MVP2. Started vaping a month ago, first on a cigalike (that lasted less than a week) and then that weekend I grabbed an iStick and Nautilus Mini. A week later I realized I needed a backup so I ordered an MVP2 and Nautilus full size, along with a couple of Kanger T2 tanks.

So today the Nautilus and MVP2 arrived, and right out of the box the MVP2 was performing like a champ. But when I went to thread on one of the T2 clearos, it got what I'd call "stuck" near the bottom of the ego threading on the MVP. I torqued it (probably a little much) and it finally read on the display and fired. Hopefully I didn't mess up the threading, but I'm not sure as I've never used an ego device (just the little 510/ego adapter on the iStick).

Still, glad to have my MVP either way :)

My MVP doesn't really like my ego tanks either.. I've got one Evod that works, another I have to pull the pin up every time, and a mini Protank 2 that wobbles when its screwed all the way on heh.. No trouble with any 510 yet though..

been vaping a little over a month and i started with a vision spinner and while it was nice the 1300ma bat on it needed charged 2 times a day which left me with nothing so i decided to try the mvp2 and after 2 weeks im still in love even tho the battery is only twice the size it lasts more like 4 times longer and the res meter built in allowed me to start rebuilding my PT coils which was a huge improvement id gladly buy another tho i am currently eyeing the vtr cuz i love the look and a replaceable battery sounds very nice

all and all the mvp met and exceeded every expectation i had for it and the build quality seems top notch
id also like to point out i decided to buy the mvp2 due to this forum thanks guys XD
