So f$!#*&g mad right now... I had my MVP 2 in the inside pocket of my Carhart coat, went to DQ to get drinks... Well, somehow one of the 44oz Dr Peppers got a whole poked in the bottom and managed to leak down the side of me and, ironically enough, right down the drip tip whole on my Aerotank... Dumb ... me thought there was just soda on the outside of it, I dried it off and when I went to fire it, the led light stayed on, went from green to yellow to off and now does nothing... DAMN IT!!!

All may not be lost. Sometimes, when the MVP detects a short it goes in to a bit of a freak out mode. Get it good and dry and then try the cycling routine. Try turning it on and off (three quick clicks) and then plug it in to the charger and try turning it on and off. Unplug it and try it one more time. Don't know why but this has brought more than one thought to be dead MVP back to life. Best of luck and please post your results.

Hey folks.

Today I got my MVP2. Started vaping a month ago, first on a cigalike (that lasted less than a week) and then that weekend I grabbed an iStick and Nautilus Mini. A week later I realized I needed a backup so I ordered an MVP2 and Nautilus full size, along with a couple of Kanger T2 tanks.

So today the Nautilus and MVP2 arrived, and right out of the box the MVP2 was performing like a champ. But when I went to thread on one of the T2 clearos, it got what I'd call "stuck" near the bottom of the ego threading on the MVP. I torqued it (probably a little much) and it finally read on the display and fired. Hopefully I didn't mess up the threading, but I'm not sure as I've never used an ego device (just the little 510/ego adapter on the iStick).

Still, glad to have my MVP either way :)

T2's and the MVP do not play well together :( Same with the VV3. It has always been my theory that the ego threads are to long (just a little) and this causes contact problems and also blocks the air holes on the T2. They are my primary topper and the Innokin products are my primary power so what I do is slap on a 510/ego connector, cover it with a beauty ring and call it a day. Works like a champ

I'm actually grabbing an ego to ego adapter for that purpose. Honestly I love these T2's that another person suggested - I know it might be heresy but I think I may like the way they vape more than my BVC nautilus duo. Who would have thought an old product with a plastic tank would be so satisfying!

The T2's just work. I'm an old Yankee and we like things that work. It may not give the biggest cloud and it may not give the greatest flavor but they are very satisfactory and I can be standing knee deep in mud after working for two hours, reach in to my pocket and pull out my MVP topped with a T2 and know that I am going to get a good vape out of it.

Very cheap, inexpensive heads, and works like a champ in almost all situations. I wish all vape gear was this dependable.

Wow 1300 and it needed two charges a day??? I can get almost a whole day out of my 650ma Evods in one charge.. No VV on em though..

Sent from my GT-P3110 using Tapatalk
Same here. And I'm a delivery driver, so I chain vape most of the day. That said, on my standard 650mah battery I use the single coil T3S tank. But still.

This information may be completely easy to find somewhere else, but I'm having trouble searching it out. At what point should I charge my MVP2 for longest lifespan? Full discharge? Half? Or top it off whenever I'm not using it, even if in the green?

Please follow the >> link in the following quote...
If you want the batteries to last as long as possible, then keep the voltage low.

I think Table 4 puts it best...
How to Prolong Lithium-based Batteries - Battery University

Basically... only charge it up to around 3.92V

Okay, so I get my new iTaste MVP 2.0 on Monday. I am thrilled with it. It only charges up to 4.1 though. I normally keep it at 8-8.5 watts, and the volts at 3.8-3.7. I guess I vape too much, because it barely lasts me a day, some days not even that. It stays green for a long time. But once you see yellow, it goes out rather quickly. I don't think it is at half full charge then, because of that. Does this thing have a memory to it, if you charge it before it is full, will it shorten battery life? Oh, I almost forgot...I LOVE THIS THING!!!

It uses a Lipo battery. You can top it off with no problems.

It's Lithium+, no "memory" effect... but, we are pushing Lithium+ to near it's limits to get the capacity and density that we are... so... if you want the cell(s) to last longer, don't keep them at the high end of the voltage curve. This includes long term storage... long term storage (unlike most other battery tech) should be done around 60% charge, i.e. ( (4.2 - 3.2) * 0.6 ) + 3.2 -> 3.8 volts. <-- some batteries are designed to go considerably lower than 3.2, and some can go a fair bit higher.

Ultimately, it's up to you... replace the batteries/unit more often, or charge to a lower level more often :) Either way, charge AS often as you want, preferably while on the lower side of the curve.

I too have noticed that the MVP2 shuts off pretty quick with the reduced input voltage, I'm guessing this is related to the minimum input voltage required for the circuitry and the load on the battery pack causes the voltage to drop too low.

Hey KK!

Keep in mind that in SETTING the MVP, you only set EITHER Watts or Volts. However, if you're running a 1.8Ω coil, you're pretty spot-on with the voltage in the 3.7-3.8 range :) If you change the resistance of your coil, either the watts or the volts will change accordingly.

Somewhere in one of the other threads, they'd visualized the battery life as follows:

GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENYELLLLLLLLOWREDDDEAD

That is about right. If I see yellow, it has very little time, probably less than what you put on there. Once I see red, I go ahead and charge it. I love this device. Since I quit smoking, I have been vaping like a fiend. Since I found Boba's Bounty, I could chain vape all day between the juice, and that MVP 2.0!!! I know I shouldn't but it is soooo good.
