If the gearbest price is any indication, I think the MVP3 will have an uphill battle against the other box mods being released these days.

They have the MVP 20 watt listed for $44.00 which is more than i paid for mine , i picked up my 20 watt for $31.00 with free shipping. The new 30 watt MVP is showing a $22.00 difference between it and the new 30 watt model .

Conclusion , expect the 30 watt to drop considerably and it shouldn't take long for it to happen , not when the new iStick 50 watt mods are selling for less , thats great news for MVP fans.

Understood.

I have a degree in industrial design and another in graphic design.

People want new and different things all the time, I don't bi** about it it pays my bills.

However I do believe the rugged industrial design of the MVP line will not go away as long as the price is right and and they perform well.

For me personally I like the look and feel of Innokins products.

Eric

Here I just got in another 50w mod that sheds some light on the look and feel factor with each new design and style that does more to attract more interest in a partiular item. Anythng new of course first reaches the psyche of the consumer looking for new things to try out, I paid $50 even for the ICig V9 seen at Fasttech as well as the link here for this one where you can see how the shape and size which is very close to the MVP has an effect. https://ecigmods.wordpress.com/2014/12/19/icig-v9-5-50w-variable-wattage-vw-apv-box-mod-at-52-63/

There are two buttons on each side at the top on the band that loops around one being the main button right under the edge for the 510 brass connector and a multi-color led that pulses from one color to the next when holding the other button. The bottom shows the plus and minus buttons as well as where to plug in to charge the single 18650 battery you supply allowing you to leave in the device.

Hi there,

I am newbie vaper of three weeks today and got tired of charging my ego batteries every few hours. So today I took Eric's advise and bought myself a MVP 20W. Yes I know, the new one is about to be released but at under 30$ I figured that I could not really go wrong, right?

I am now looking at getting a protective case either in leather or something like a silicone skin but I cannot find any online. All I find are decal's that need to be glued to the device but I'd prefer a protective case. Could somebody point me in the right direction please?

Here are a couple for you. First one is silicone. INNOKIN iTASTE MVP SLEEVES - MADTOWN VAPOR. Here are some leather ones. I have a couple of these. https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/SillyNilly?section_id=16373888&ref=shopsection_leftnav_2

I have one of the silicone ones and really, really like it. Limited in color but the grip and security is tops. I've only had it a couple of weeks so durability is still an unknown but nothing would lead me to believe that they wont stand up and they are pretty inexpensive. I highly recommend these.

Thank you so much for those!!! I do prefer leather usually but in this case I fancy the idea of dressing up in different colors :)
So far I refused to even look into the direction of a box mod so I need to add something girly.
Let me know how those work out. As I said, I have 2 leather sleeves but I am now using them for my 2 MVP20 boxes. I plan to put in a Fat Daddy 510 connection in both of my MVP2.0's and was thinking of getting a couple of the silicone covers for them since they are so inexpensive.

I almost hate to say it, but I am off the mvp train. I went to my local shop the other day with the intent to buy the 20w version and I saw the eleaf istick 30w and bought it.
I won't say anything bad about mvp's - but I am not gonna be able to go back now.

you better not
we know people, have resources, ghost teams of black ops,
rulers of countries in our back pocket… (just watch yourself)

but really if you were there staring at both of them and the
istick30 was your choice, that’s Innokins problem
you got what you think is the best deal FOR YOU
heck, I like the design of the istick50 (bigger, boxier)
istick20 took the vape world by storm, then poor performance kinda
took the shine off a cool idea…
now second attempt, sounds like they’re narrowing it down
hope it works out OK for ya

I have the Madtown one for a little over 3 months now and it is as in good shape as the day I first put it on and when I got my MVP20w I ordered one for it right away. Have had not one problem with the silicone cases, I have even removed them from my MVP's when I do a general cleaning my MVPs.

hello Caprilli, welcome to the club... :toast:

congrats on new vapor'er status !!!!!

boy did you come to the right place

a lot of wind-bags in here will sure tell ya how to spend your money

here's an example; buy a bling/girly wrap

then put that razzle-dazzle inside something like this for safe keeping

- iTaste VTR / MVP Pouch - Cases, Holders, Lanyards - Accessories
- Innokin iTaste MVP leather pouch

(that 1st innokin case is high quality holster type leather-thick)

good luck

Thank you for the welcome! I looked at those earlier snd practicality took over from the girly side of me:) those do not cover the edges which I consider more vonurable than the rest of the device. So I ordered the white mod and a red silikon skin which should look good enough with stainless/glass clearo's.

I would have preferred a white skin but.....who is complaining at that prize?

Welcome Caprilla! Happy to see you!!

I've been reading the thread and have fallen a little bit behind, but all I can say right now is that I'm still VERY happy with my MVP2. Both of them. I just did a very stupid thing, though, and left one of them behind at work Wednesday night. After 7 days of being at work, I was so happy to be going home that I forgot I had one charging and I ran out of the building like a bullet!! Thankfully I was able to call my boss, and he said he would stick it in his locker for me when I go back to work on Thursday. With it being a 3 hour drive to work, I wasn't going back for it.

It's been a little rough without it. I think I need another one. :D

I bet you can still vape on it for a few days when you return to work tho.

And for $30 some bucks why not get another, In this case a 20W?

It always stinks you forget something behind! While I didn't a second 2.0 after the first I did end up with four iTaste VV V3.0 batteries since those were only 700mah plus having multiple flavors in multiple tanks. The Groove II was the second mod back then so when picking up the iSticks I made sure to grab a second one for what that bought for namely a small mod rather then carrying the longer 1300mah eGo batteries which I ended up buying even more of.

While everything is passthrough I hate having an bilico cord attached if I need to get up from one spot or leave the pc desk for some reason and end up yanking the cord out. So multiples allowed for the 20W to go with the 2.0 since I can still run a Nautilus on the 2.0 when not using another mod. Oh yes other mods means others when one is charging pick another! During warmer weather when everyone is out and around more I generally carry a second something either for simply having a spare or a second flavor.

As for 30w anything it won't be an iStick or the 3.0 coming out since there no mention of either 30w versions when ordering the DovPo 30w mod with the outer skin being vinyl and no worries if it slips out and falls on the ground on in a puddle being water resistant. The MVPs I keep at home where I know they are safe and sound while the iSticks were those quickies temp mods for fast errands to have something on me other then a eGo mini battery with a pen capped clearomizer.

Got some of those before the iSticks were out and now don't even use them so there is no comparison between the 20Ws either Eleaf or MVP! Once I get the Innokin belt holster fixed I can carry the 20W MVP where I did have the VTR along with the Innokin 10ml U Can for refilling the tank on the go. The MVPs don't have half the weight of the VTR and less likely to see the strap come undone.
