Older Folks and Vaping Back Porch - Part 2

I posted a couple of weeks ago when it really started bothering me, I had ask my doctor if she knew of any good knee pads to protect them while I was working on the floors in the old house. She told me to go to Sports Authority and get some volleyball kneepads. I did and they work great. When my left knee started to give me problems I googled up a real orthopaedic knee brace and compared them to what you can buy at Sports Authority. Looked almost exactly the same cept the ortho one was $350 and the Sports Authority one was $56. Never guess which one I am wearing and is giving me good relief. Who'd a thunk it. Damn medical professionals ripping us off again. The only real difference I could see was the "real" One was powder coated aluminum and the SA one was not.

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

My Rhuematologist is like that. He's the one that told me about using Musinex DM as soon as I started feeling any congestion, & adding Robitussin DM if I progressed to coughing. Works like a charm! I haven't pnuemonia or brochitis since I started doing that, but have to start right away before it really sets in. If I wait it takes longer to get a grip on it.

TBH, there are many times when I start to feel sorry for my bride, and subsequently my self. BUT, just remember that there is ALWAYS folk with more dire issues that pales our problems!

I do hope, if you feel 'comfortable', that you can share your challenges with us. It sure wouldn't be the first time on the 'porches'. Besides, on many occasions, a heart spill has had a lifting effect for many.

Be assured that your post has generated more 'spirited support' than you can imagine! Hang in dere and let us know if we can provide more.

I've been there more than once and you've got mine. Sometimes it is unavoidable and you need a few shoulders to lean on and this is a good place for that.

ok........either I am a genius........or I got very very lucky. (hint....it's the second one)

this computer is so messed up. I finally got it to boot in safe mode....tried to reset a user profile, nothing was in the file that was supposed to be there........finally decided to what the heck.......let's try a system restore....... went back to Jan 7th and the only program it said would be affected was that stinkin adobe acrobat!! It must have done an update without my permission, cuz I never allow it to update. Hate that thing! anyhow, doin the restore I think has worked. We'll see when I shut it back off and try to start it again! lol Now I got lots of catchin up to do on the reading. lol
