Had a panic attack with the state health assistance people today. They were trying to tell me that I am getting twice the social security benefits that I am getting. What are they trying to do, give me a heart attack? Chain vaping. Of course, by the time I actually spoke to a person, I had talked myself out of a temper tantrum. But I did tell her where my emotions had been.
I am so sorry you are going through all that. :(

Well I'm not dead yet, probably should be. I'm still hobbling around. I'm waiting for my stump to get better but it seems like it is going awfully slow. I have had worse mishaps then this but it seems like as we get older things take longer to heal. I don't think I cracked the end of the bone in my stump but I don't know what's there if there is a nerve I didn't think there was anything infront of the bone right there. Ive always had problems with that bone sticking out and thats what I landed on. Well I'll just wait and see it's only been 5 days. Hope everyone else is well. I saw that people are wondering about Iffy has anyone heard anything from him. I know he bunged up his leg too. Well take care.
Oh I called the Main number at the PO and they started an inquiry.
You should hear something about the PO soon. Legs, you need to see thr Dr about your stump. It' probably very bruised, but please don't assume that's all it is. Thrre should be some improvement by now.

Oh, Deb, ya'd be soooo captivated with my left (insert Dave chuckle here) toes. Think they're just 'bout every shade of purple from da ham string bruising. Crayola and Avon would be absolutely green with envy...

Technicolor toes still? Wow, you really bit it!

Good morning Porchers.
sitting in my recliner....it's sorta comfy...but I'm going back to my desktop...gotta break myself in slowly and carefully with this new-fangled toy....

oops... I forgot to say that I was using my laptop:confused:
Make sure you don't block the air intake for the fan on your laptop. The fan needs to keep it cool. Prop it on a book or something so air can circulate under it & keep it cooler so the battery doesn't drain so fast.

How do they think that? Hope you got it straightened out, that's just terrifying!

Ummm, more like 'it' bit me!

Seriously, considering da damage, my age and da multiple sore locations, I'm very fortunate and thankful fer my, IMO, fairly rapid improvements. I do give much credit to near five years being 'bakky free. My restructured right ankle still looks bruised after eight years due to circulation restriction during post-surgery mending; thanx BT and my inability at the time to stop 'bakky at dat time.

True! Big fan of LT fan platforms.

The #1 'killer' of laptop batteries is HEAT... from running the LT constantly while plugged in...

I do it, so... meh... Amazon sells 'em everyday, cheap too.

eta: platforms are good insurance tho.....

You can help the bruising disperse by massaging the area with soap in the shower, or lotion. I've had to deal with bruising from sprains & iv's, & soap or lotion massage really help speed it up.

Me, too. I never used one until I got this big one. I think I need stronger fans to clip on the bottom. That thing's a hottie! [emoji12]

I was working the graveyard shift at a motel. A man came up to the desk and asked how to find a prostitute in that town. :-x That wasn't in my job description. I can only imagine the expression on my face.
Should have told him to ask a cop they know where they are.
