I don't think they'll be playing golf at the Seaview just outside of Atlantic city today....... this was posted by a friend down there 4 hours ago;)

In keeping w/ tonight's theme ... use blue balls, they'll show up on the white background.

I thought you said you weren't going out to get the paper.

1 shot daily?! I don't think so! I'll keep trying to stay on my diet instead.
I read it on line. I really prefer the feel of a real paper in my hands but, the weather rules sometimes.:) I was moving toward having to take insulin, this is better. The needle used are so fine you really don't feel them at all. Just took some getting used to the idea.

So true. I know ya gotta pick yur battles, and I know sometimes you can simply end up with no fight left in you, but I do agree with Matt, particularly if I'm understanding correctly that SIL is living with you but not helping much or at all with your wife......tell her to shove it. I know that's likely not helpful at all, just burns me up to see folks treated like that. Also know how constant pain can just drain you of any will sometimes no matter how strong you are. So sorry you're having to deal with all this. As Iffy said, perhaps at least a separation could help to see how you really feel when not under that constant stress, only you can decide, and I sure don't envy you that, been there more than once due to horrible decisions in who I married.

@Ken_A Gracie helped me to see what you were showing in the map was the horrible storms, not the heat, so sorry that's what I commented on when I quoted your post earlier. I blame it on sleep deprivation, took me awhile and figuring out how to enlarge, just to see where Florida was on there. lol Hope y'alls storms aren't too bad.

I'm so sorry for your pain. Mike and Janet's responses were so great and I hope perhaps it helped a bit if anything can right now. I certainly understand feeling so cheated particularly as it seems you are quite young. Do you mind if I ask how old you are? Most of us here are near 50 to 70's. Not sure how old your dad is even, but as we get older and closer to it, many of us view death much differently than we did when we were young. Also many with true faith in God view it differently, it's not an end to us, only a season. We also see it that they are no longer suffering, but free of pain. One thing worse than losing someone you love so much, is seeing them suffer. I'm not saying this to preach or step on toes at all, I only mention it because in your second post it seemed that perhaps you are a bit angry at your dad for handling it so well. I may be way off base here, please forgive me if I am. Death of a loved one always seems so cruel and so final no matter how you look at it, and anger is a part of that.

hate to see you thinking this way and hope you don't truly feel this way. As mama said, you are truly an inspiration to so many hun!

that sounds wonderful even if a few years off, and I certainly hope for so many that it will materialize. I hate to admit it, but I think I tend to feel more like Ken said below. I'm sure both of us sincerely hope we're wrong, I know I do.

<sadly shakes head> and whispers jup.

Definitely on a list of things I never expected to hear hehehe If ya won't wear a pink tutu, at least take pics of yur purple toes! lol Seriously, hope they heal up well and soon! Painful to walk with bruised tootsies and and a sprained ..... Jup I know it's a thigh, but it hurts up to yur .... I bet, besides, sprained leg just didn't make me giggle. you know I'm not giggling at an injury, again, I blame sleep deprivation.

hehehe oh you clever lad you.

you could always put da pic in a
here
tag

lol they were horrible, but at least they were better than the aforementioned "guillotine" razors

may be more than is being said, but this is breaking the needle on my BS meter. I can't imagine reps from Martin and insurance not being right there overseeing the handling and instructing him on how priceless it was etc etc, and really why on earth they'd loan it for that to begin with. Particularly with the article saying something about all the violence in the film. Maybe even needing him to sign something saying he understood how rare it was yada yada. Maybe not, but regardless, it's a shame it got destroyed.

ha I see what you did there.

then why inda heck dint ya put it where she could find it again!
What is it about Quentin Tarantino that all the big stars like to be in his movies. I love all his movies no matter how gruesome they are.

Whoever invented those things should be shot.
Those things hurt!

Just keep your balls and fingers outta 'em!

Playin' on my phone right now, so I had to look it up for y'all...

Ladies, please DON'T listen to this:

Now dat song could easily add foot bottom stones bruises along wid my others!

eta:
And another, not as good quality of recording, but...

Oooh yeah, BBB* music!

* belly button bumpin'

Yoou can help the bruising disperse by massaging the area with soap in the shower, or lotion. I've had to deal with bruising from sprains & iv's, d soap or lotion massage really help speed it up.

Hot showers, yepper. Massage, not so much. Will give it a go... thanx!

Yep we love this show and this is the final season. Can't imagine living like this must've been nice if you were on the right side. The rich one.
I don't know. The social class barriers were beginning to fall down, it was quite an adventure for the ambitious dreamers. My grandfather escaped before that. Couldn't stand upper-class snobs. Grandma, however, was neurotic about propriety (New Amsterdam Dutch, you see. LOL)

Man I sure hope I didn't hurt my leg pemanently. I walked so well on these prosthetics. I think it will just take time after all I got over a broken femur eventually. It's only been a week but it is really taking it's time and of course it is my stump that I have always had problems with. The bone is right at the surface and it has always been tough to fit.
