That's the first stop for the deer here. We don't put any food in the feeders Ginny just puts it in the hedge where we have a few families of quail living and up by the house and under one of our trees but the deer have those spots scoped out too. These deer are going to grow wings.So...I awoke to freshly falling snow...it looks lovely....and a plethora of birdies on the feeders, including, finally, three cardinals...two males and a female. The two large feeders were more than half full last night...right now they're almost empty. One male cardinal's wings and back were so dark they almost looked black and the other one was so bright he almost looked orange!

So having the Powerball gets you $4 x 3 = $12, right, because of the 3X multiplier? I bought 10 tickets yesterday for $20, which means I've now spent $20 in the past 5 years. No Powerball hits; the best I could do was 2 white balls. (I wonder if someone will run with that.)
Guess I'll be buying some more tickets before the drawing on Wednesday, since nobody hit.

Well, if you win the $1.3b - you will walk away with about $200.2m (depending upon your state income tax level of course (Iffy would not have to worry about that part, but most of us would)). There are some tax trips you can do to increase that a little, but not much...
So if you want to walk away with $900m - you need to win $5.85b...

Naw, you would have doubled it - the problem with that kind of system would be printing 900 million tickets - might take a while. I went in to buy my paltry one ticket the other day and was told to come back in about 3 hours - some guy had just bought $10k in tickets...
(I wonder if he hit anything)...Another way to do it - if you knew that you could get the powerball correct each time - would be to start with $2 worth and double down each consecutive draw - you would have over your $900 mil in about 29 draws - and would not pay any taxes since they do not collect personal info on $2 payouts (of course you should report it) - printing and collecting would be time consuming though.

They're saying on the local news and we all know that everything they say is true, that here in Florida if it hits 1.3 billion (and you can bet your behind I will have a ticket) the one time payout will be somewhere over 600 million. Now no matter how you look at it, that's real money! 
If I were to win it we would all have a hell of an odyssey but, probably a little further away than April as passports would be required. I just read an article in the Sun-Sentinal about world cruises, something like 6 months, 32 countries and 60+ ports of call. Around 50,000 dollars double occupancy.
