All past us now, storm was moving way too fast.

Go hide ? No "smell" and no "green"

Did have a bout of sideways rain and thought some palm trees were going to take flight ! :lol:
I'm glad it's over! Ya gotta watch those palm trees. They're sneaky things - always wantin to go someplace they're not s'posed to be! :)

TV and phones went off...

Tornado warning - take shelter now :shock:

Good grief.
Half filled up the ginormous garbage can with debris from the yard and the street out front !

Looks like its headed our way...NOAA just put out a warning of 25mph sustained and gusts to 44mph for at least an hour.......

Hope AEF eagles stay safe!

Knots is Nautical Miles Per Hour. A nautical mile is an even 2000 yards. Makes a heck of a lot more sense than the weird random number of feet in a statue mile. ;)
Hey, Matt;
I wasn't saying that miles is a more logical measurement than nautical miles; I was just saying that miles is what I'm more familiar with. But, a nautical mile is not 2000 yards; it's 2025 yards.
I don't know whether Mike's and Janet's grandson is statute or nautical.

20 years in the Navy as a navigational specialisttype and we always said it was 2000 yards. Mmmmmm. ;)
