well I put in the order for 2 submarine tanks to use with my divers and another liter of nic from MFS. With the date for OMB to make a decision nearing (I believe it is Tuesday) I am hoping to slip these orders in before the general panic hits if things go badly.

Geez, Tuesday?!
Guess I'd better order some more nic right quick... only have enough to make 20,400 ml. of 5mg/ml.

Yep same here aside from some spare atty parts I am set.
Might need a few flavors along but otherwise set for 2 years even on the PG/VG.
And about 12 yrs on the nic.

Which space opera series?
Been rereading the Area 51 Series by Bob Mayer. Now I'm reading Catalyst by Michael C. Grumley. Third in a series. Pretty good. The guy must have a military background. Tends to get things correct. Also been reading the Legacy Fleet Series by Nick Webb.

Ham sting... was pretty well pooped last night.

Patty fell
Iffy does Patty lift
Patty's legs just give way
"Going down!"
Shifted weight(s) to left to avoid landing on her
Half way down left ham string says "Enough, you're on your own!"
Dual visits to ER
Patty was OK, but extremely fatigued
Iffy has his left ham string sprung
Patty goes home with daughters
Iffy spends two nights getting his fill of poultry*

Only issue I'm having is part of that ham string is located right where I plop my left cheek on the toilet seat. Other than that, doing better than I thought.

* hospital meals
turkey sandwich
cold scrambled eggs (stuck to the plate)
chicken noodle casserole
turkey & dressing
chicken salad

I'm having this weird urge to pluck and preen.

Oh wow. Glad you and Patty didn't get hurt worse! And I bet you're glad you didn't have to stay for the hospital cuisine any longer! Should've called for a pizza delivery!

I stay pretty current with those. Have you read ones about her tree cat? I also like John Ringo's Poslean series.
Read all the Honorverse books.
Also another good Weber is the Dahak series and Fury And of course Off Armageddon Reef.

Reading Ringo's Eye of the Storm right now.
don't tell me how it ends.

Ugh! Like the pain & hospital in general aren't bad enough they feed you cold crap. Glad you are home & on the mend! Nothing like hospital food to make you beg to go home! My family smuggled whole cans of those (brainfart) hot, spicy, sausage stick thingies & strawberry yogurt in to me while I was in hospital & rehab for 2 months. They were the only things that tasted right.

{{{{{ @iffy}}}}}! Well, I guess you are lucky it wasn't worse, but doesn't make it better. Hope you and Patty heal quick. I sent you a PM about the dog show (also posted here but figure under the circumstances you missed it). Don't come unless you are 100%! It's a big field, on a slight hill, and lots of walking. We will be in Tampa in June, indoor show, so that might be easier.

Today was warm (upper 70s) and sunny. Supposed to get another nasty storm overnight and get cold again. I was going to bathe Geordi Tuesday when there is no show. Still probably will, in the 2nd bathroom bathtub where I bathed him as a little Squirt (he is now a big Sir Squirtness). Other news, Bella, one of Geordi's sisters, got 2 points yesterday and a 3 point major today. So that's 5 of the 15 points needed for Champion, and one of the 2 majors needed! And she is being shown the rest of this circuit so she could easily be the first Champion in this litter! All very exciting! Bella was my fave of the girls.
