Oh man......check with your PT guy.....ask about portable lifts. There are a number of different types, he knows your home layout already and see if medicare/caid will pick up the bill for something like this, or other insurances, maybe each will pay a little. Assuming as a retiree y'all have tricare of something also. You can't keep lifting her hun if there's any other way. Hope you heal quickly! Prayers.

As to hospital food, jup it usually stinks.......but Daniel's 3rd surgery was at UT Southwestern hospital in Dallas. The food was amazing!! My friend said it was because the culinary school had worked out a deal to use their kitchens, and in return, they cooked the meals for the hospital. Some of the best fajitas I've ever had!!
I have central heat this year......no complaints!! Hope you're staying warm too hun!
