Okay, am "vocalizing" now. The only good thing about the colonoscopy I had was it was the most restful sleep I'd had in years. Felt wonderful when I woke up.......Asked the doc for a bottle of the stuff. Ha!

Yay!! I'm glad y'all are happy with the decision to not do IV chemo anymore. All I got here to love atm is da puppy, and he ran off somewherz a bit ago......but til I find him.....we aren't going to be doing the IV chemo any more and we're pretty happy about that. The oral-dose chemo will be less hassle (no more 1+ hour drives for treatment).
Other than that, we're both working very hard at not dwelling on it and just trying to enjoy our lives as they are. So, prayers and hugs are appreciated, but no more sadz... be happy, love the ones you are with while you have them, dance in the rain, play in the snow (just don't eat it if it's yellow!), and bask in the sunlight... Today is the present and that is all that matters. It is a gift and each day should be cherished. Now go love somebody!

The studies have shown that it is very promising and has given Stage IV patients as much as an additional year of time. It was made clear to us that this is not a cure, but is a measure to extend our time. How much time is unknown (so, nothing new there). you do a better job anyhow......he'll snuggle next to me......but he don't hug back. My sil and nephew will be going to Houston, but it'll most likely be while I'm in Fla dangit!{{{{{{{{{{Deb}}}}}}}}}} I'll try to tide ya over till da puppy gets back!!

Me too. I have a Tshirt with Grumpy on it that says "I don't do hugs." My family knows it's a joke but strangers will make a remark about it. I tell them it's funny because I am overly huggy and I would be happy to hug them right then and there!

A course I did! Dinner's at 8:00. Go past George Washington's house a little ways, but not quite as far as the distillery (which would be the old stone gristmill) and make a left towards the river, but stop just before you end up in the water and that's our house.
