Well we're packing up to head north. Please Mr. Custer I don't wanna go! [emoji38] Guess I gotta though. I'll let you all know when we get there safely. Going to try to leave around 6am tomorrow.

Be careful, Mattman! Is the storm over? I know it's warmer here than it has been in a couple of days. I'm leaving in a little bit to go home, too. I've been staying with the pups since Thursday. We do great during the day, but bedtime can be an adventure!

Okra some gud stuff!... soul food mang.

I couldn't find the frozen whole okra baggies quickly enough - in the bottom of the deep freezer on an unheated porch ~20o outside... so I settled for a pack of cut okra.

We'll be very careful and stop immediately if it turns to s..t. Should be ok. Temps are rising all the way and it's going to be bright and sunny. That should help the melting. Storm is gone the next front is probably a week or so away. Besides with all of you praying for us what could go wrong. .

Nope....can't get out of the front door....might make it out the back one, since it opens inward, but.......had to stick my head out and tell the people from upstairs that... while they were shoveling the snow off of their car and making a path to it.....they'd best not be piling it up where they were blocking my exit, if needed.
