....my fantasies never include MARRIED men.....;)
Anybody is OK in fantasies and dreams as long as they stay in fantasies and dreams. After all that's what dreams are for. :)
I love my job! I get to do such a variety of things. Well, I don't get to move around a lot. But, I get to do a variety of things on the computer.

And, he got me a HUGE screen to run off the laptop! It must be about 4 feet wide! No glasses required.

If I learn more about guns, I may even get to walk around more. I work in a gun shop.

I could post a link to the website I made for him if anyone wants (if that's ok). Before me, he had an ugly WordPress website, that he didn't even know how to work with because someone else had set it up for him.

When our hosting service (Arvixe) messed up, he got fed up and wanted a website that wouldn't crash so easily. And, since the only pages on my personal websites that went down too were the ones with server side includes, he asked me to make a simple website for him without server side includes, databases, or anything else that would be vulnerable.

Right now, I'm learning accounting on QuickBooks. So far, I don't know much. I'm just doing the payroll until I learn more. He got me a book to teach myself with.

I do all his ads and flyers, keep all his customer info updated, run background checks, answer simple emails for him, and any other various computer/secretarial type of job he needs done.

It's so much fun to learn new things! And, to get a chance to actually use some of the stuff I already know.
I want your job but, down here! Sounds like something I would enjoy. You're lucky to have found it.

That is a great job, DH! I wish I knew more about servers & websites & those things. I was never in a position to learn them.

Looks a bit like our trip only in reverse. Back in '72 Mike and I fixed up our VW van and left PA heading to Canada via Maine. Followed the trans-Canadian highway west to Vancouver Island. Finally crossed back into the U.S. in Washington state. Had our muffler fixed and got tires in Eugene Oregon as we followed the coastal highway down the west coast. One fri morning, parked just this side of the Golden Gate bridge, we left the overlook to go to a bank in San Francisco to have some money wired and yep, there was a BIG oil spot under the van. We'd blown an engine gasket. You're not allowed to work on a vehicle on the street so we had to find a garage to do the work. At the end of the day we went back to the bank where they told us they wouldn't give us money till they physically had it - see ya, we're closing for the weekend! Back to the garage where the van was now fixed and after hearing our story, they only charged us $25 so we'd have $20 for food. Fortunately a fellow traveler was driving us around and took us to a friend's house in Santa Barbara for the night. Amazing how nice people on the road can be.

We continued down the west coast into Mexico and back to PA via the center of the U.S. Whole trip took 3-1/2 months and was fantastic.

No worries. Couldn't even if we wanted to!

Fresh is always better! And cheaper in the end!

Aww, 2nd place isn't so bad, he's just a pup. He'll get more serious a little later and do just fine.

Is it the okra that makes it gumbo or the roux?

The roux! You can make gumbo without okra.

They're plumb crazy if they think I'm going to be able to shovel that stuff off !!!! I can't even get out that door.....the plows, or snow blowers have thrown it, and the wind has blown it......sidewalk AND my front landing buried in more than 2 feet of snow....:(
Just as bad out the back door.....some drifts are deeper, and I'm not going to attempt to wade all the way around the building to shovel what is more than I can handle...:grr:

Well, brother got the point again today (there were only the 2 boys so 2nd place is nothing special, however, the judge does NOT have to award a ribbon so it is good). We did accomplish what I set out to do, however, Gman stood for the exam. Progress! So I take that as a small victory and on we go!

Thanks for all the encouragement.

Those in the snow stay safe and warm. This morning was colder but with no wind was better than yesterday. Sun is out now amd layers of warm clothing are slowing coming off. (get yer mind out of the gutter!)

Call them & thank them for barricading you in your house. Tell them they need to come clear the front door that they blockaided so you can get out to clear your stoop & sidewalk that they shoved snow up on. Emergency Services might need to get in. Bitc# at them Yiddle, you're a woman, open yoir mouth & let 'er rip! Take pics & show up at the City Council meetings.

Well we're packing up to head north. Please Mr. Custer I don't wanna go! Guess I gotta though. I'll let you all know when we get there safely. Going to try to leave around 6am tomorrow. :)
Have a safe journey. Thousands were trapped on I 75 for Days in southern KY and TN...

Have you checked your route all the way through? Sure would feel better if y'all put it off a few more days? If y'all go, please be super super careful.
