When I went looking for "most interesting man" memes, found some hilarious stuff:

And in other news... Have I mentioned that I like 3D printing? In case I didn't...

Ken, that is neat-o! 3D printing is very interesting to me (so are drones, but I can't afford one of those either)... no telling what'll end up being done with it. I read somewhere they're planning to put one on the Spacestation to make replacement parts on the spot.

And glad you got your dry throat problem solved.

Mike just an FYI for you. We have had a ton of problems with Cannon printers over the years. We have it networked to a Windows box and a Mac which further complicates things. On the Mac side it is a real PITA to get the driver working properly and it randomly will decide not to work. Windows it is not too bad.

Mornin Uman and Myrany!

I gotta do something to adjust my circadian clock back to some semblance of 'normal'!

Lately, I sleep from 8pm to 3am... wake up and can't go back to sleep. At night after supper, I'm ready to crash.
I feel your pain.......it could be worse......I've been going to bed between 8 am and noonish, and getting up around 3-7 pm. When I get to bed that is....... woke up 7 am on Saturday.... I did nap on the couch 2-3 hrs Sat afternoon......didn't go back to sleep til 9 am Monday. Oye.

ya want me to send ya some sho-nuff salt cured ham and fat-back?
You forgot to say....bless my lil pea pickin heart!! :pervy:  Fat back we can get. Man oh man.....yur makin me drool over that country ham. Can ya throw some green maters in there too?? The few farmer's markets we have around here in the summer.......them silly folks wanna ripen the dang things and sell em red.....I just don't unnerstand it!! How much ya reckin it would cost to mail a piece of pig??? hehehe totally j/k btw!!

I always wanted to ride Route 66 - from one end to the other.... oops...
hmmmmm pretty sure me and Iffy are related, but there is a chance you could be also. this has always been on my bucket list! Reckin you got any sisters you never knew about? Not as crazy as it might sound. As an adult, I found out about two 1/2 siblings I never knew about. One of em, my dad didn't even know about. The other one he'd just never told me about.

Who are we bettin' on for the Super Bowl? The Cam-thers or the Pey-cos?
Yanno......if it weren't for Peyton......I'd totally be rootin for NC. But that man has to retire soon......oldest starting QB to take a team to the SB. He's gone past his prime now.....but I'd love to see him go out with a ring from both teams!! He totally deserves it.

Actually I believe they have but, not sure. Just walked in the front door in Virginia. Left at 7:30am, home in Virginia at 10:20pm. Not bad. I drove 5 hours and Doree drove the rest. Now all have to do is catch up 80 messages worth. Might have to wait until morning.

Glad you are home, well, back in VA, safe and sound.

I had to have Barney the Cat euthanized last Wednesday, and on top of losing a long time family member, it was my worst veterinarian experience of my entire life.

I still have Nermal, but at 71 I'll never take on another cat. Either I'll die first and leave him stranded, or I'll have to go through a similar situation in the future. Right now, it just doesn't seem worth it.

I hear ya. I dread the day I don't want another dog for the same reason. I might have to downsize some day, but I need a dog. Would have to have something inn place to care for it when the time comes. I got a lotta time left though (I hope!)

Papa was a rolling stone -but- Mama's got a squeeze box she wears on her chest...

I'll ask him what kind of woodpecker he is the next time I see him. I won't tell him you want to cook him.

I was thinking Red-Headed Woodpecker but haven't done any Googling.

Is he really big? Hard to tell perspective in the photo. They sound like a bird you'd hear in a jungle and they nest in the trunk of a tree. You can tell which is their nest because the hole will be a large oval.

We ate a lot of rubarb growing up in Seattle. Grew it in the back yard. Pie, jelly, cake, relish. By itself or with most any berry or fruit. Or raw with salt, like celery. (Deb!)

Good to hear it's enjoyed everywhere. I never know if something I grew up with is regional or not. Up until a few years ago I had no idea that Tastycakes were only found in PA. That changed a few years ago when they were bought out.

They're almost extinct, why would you cook one?!? ;)

Oh no! Who said anything about cooking one? Bells just had a picture of one and I asked if it was one of the woodpeckers I used to see in a town we lived in.

Hey, glad to hear you made the trip safely. Now rest up, finish up what you have to do there and hightail it back to FL.

Geography rules... rootin' for my Panthers. I love the joy that Cam derives from playing. If he wasn't so good, people would call him a fool.

Big one, as large as a good-sized pigeon. I guesstimate about a foot long from head to tip of tail.

I was eating Tastycakes in NJ as far back as the early or mid 1960s, I believe. I remember walking across the road to the country store when I was waiting for a gig on the caddie bench at the local country club when I was 14. Of course there's always the possibility that I might be wrong for the first time ever. :)

Before 8 AM this morning I was flying:

Normal, sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one, and I wish the two of you peace.

No such thing as TMI.... it's how we all get to know each other ...;)

Memories.....memories...
Yesterday I tore the place apart searching for a couple of old photos I had...finally realized granddaughter had taken them a few years back, but ran across one I had forgotten. When I was pregnant with my son I gained over 60n lbs., crashed off all but the last 10 before I went back to work when he was 6 weeks old.

a couple of weeks back at work, I was sent upstairs for my scheduled employee evaluation. I guess I should explain....Harrahs had a policy when it came to evaluations, that they always were to find some area that needed improvement. So.... got up there and was told "let's face it your azz is bigger than it was before & this situation will be watched closely for improvement" !!! Came back down to the pit looking like a thundercloud. Pit Boss wanted to know what was wrong and I told him. The pic was taken when I got home that night, which explains the look on my face....

The next time I had an evaluation...it was given by the Pit Boss I was working with that night.....and I'm proud to say....I got something unheard of at Harrahs....a perfect eval. !! :D

Try a nap in the afternoon to help you stay up later? Then you can sleep later.
