I feel your pain.......it could be worse......I've been going to bed between 8 am and noonish, and getting up around 3-7 pm. When I get to bed that is....... woke up 7 am on Saturday.... I did nap on the couch 2-3 hrs Sat afternoon......didn't go back to sleep til 9 am Monday. Oye.I gotta do something to adjust my circadian clock back to some semblance of 'normal'!
Lately, I sleep from 8pm to 3am... wake up and can't go back to sleep. At night after supper, I'm ready to crash.
You forgot to say....bless my lil pea pickin heart!!ya want me to send ya some sho-nuff salt cured ham and fat-back?
hmmmmm pretty sure me and Iffy are related, but there is a chance you could be also. this has always been on my bucket list! Reckin you got any sisters you never knew about? Not as crazy as it might sound. As an adult, I found out about two 1/2 siblings I never knew about. One of em, my dad didn't even know about. The other one he'd just never told me about.I always wanted to ride Route 66 - from one end to the other.... oops...
Yanno......if it weren't for Peyton......I'd totally be rootin for NC. But that man has to retire soon......oldest starting QB to take a team to the SB. He's gone past his prime now.....but I'd love to see him go out with a ring from both teams!! He totally deserves it.Who are we bettin' on for the Super Bowl? The Cam-thers or the Pey-cos?
Actually I believe they have but, not sure. Just walked in the front door in Virginia. Left at 7:30am, home in Virginia at 10:20pm. Not bad. I drove 5 hours and Doree drove the rest. Now all have to do is catch up 80 messages worth. Might have to wait until morning.
I had to have Barney the Cat euthanized last Wednesday, and on top of losing a long time family member, it was my worst veterinarian experience of my entire life.
I still have Nermal, but at 71 I'll never take on another cat. Either I'll die first and leave him stranded, or I'll have to go through a similar situation in the future. Right now, it just doesn't seem worth it.

I'll ask him what kind of woodpecker he is the next time I see him. I won't tell him you want to cook him.
I was thinking Red-Headed Woodpecker but haven't done any Googling.
We ate a lot of rubarb growing up in Seattle. Grew it in the back yard. Pie, jelly, cake, relish. By itself or with most any berry or fruit. Or raw with salt, like celery. (Deb!)
They're almost extinct, why would you cook one?!?![]()
Geography rules... rootin' for my Panthers. I love the joy that Cam derives from playing. If he wasn't so good, people would call him a fool.Who are we bettin' on for the Super Bowl? The Cam-thers or the Pey-cos?
Big one, as large as a good-sized pigeon. I guesstimate about a foot long from head to tip of tail.Is he really big? Hard to tell perspective in the photo. They sound like a bird you'd hear in a jungle and they nest in the trunk of a tree. You can tell which is their nest because the hole will be a large oval.
I was eating Tastycakes in NJ as far back as the early or mid 1960s, I believe. I remember walking across the road to the country store when I was waiting for a gig on the caddie bench at the local country club when I was 14. Of course there's always the possibility that I might be wrong for the first time ever.Good to hear it's enjoyed everywhere. I never know if something I grew up with is regional or not. Up until a few years ago I had no idea that Tastycakes were only found in PA. That changed a few years ago when they were bought out.

Normal, sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one, and I wish the two of you peace.I had to have Barney the Cat euthanized last Wednesday, and on top of losing a long time family member, it was my worst veterinarian experience of my entire life.

You mean I could have a sister and a brother from another mother?
I don't know...
Papa was a rolling stone -but- Mama's got a squeeze box she wears on her chest...
What..... TMI?
