I don't remember if it was here on the porch...or in the porch HO......we had a discussion about jeans in the past being so much more flattering to a woman's derriere than what's on the market today...It would appear that Levi has heard our sighs, moans and complaints....;)

Editor-Tested: Jeans That Promise to Flatter All Butts? 4 InStyle Staffers Try Them On | XFINITY Lifestyle Blog by Comcast

Just one little problem....I went to the site named.....out of stock in every size except one... and that in white.....and price was considerably more than quoted in the article. I'm sighing again....even if they were available, I'm just not up to paying over $125.00 a pair...

I claim ownership of that "thought" and on more than one occasion .. ;) .. being the aficionado of Womens Jeans that I am .. ;)

Also, any post I replied to Gary on assumed he still had enough brainpower to investigate all the obvious solutions .. for those that may have forgotten or did not know, I owned a 50% partnership in a Computer / TV / Small Electronics Repair Business for 10 years .. until the cost of repairing things outweighed the cost of replacement (with some rare exception .. ) .. :)

Geez I wouldn't be up for that either, can get ~6-7 pair of Wranglers at wallyworld for that...

Besides, my derriere couldn't stand to be much flatter. :D I think I'm starting to get an ever worsening case of age-related noassatol.
 they're not supposed to flatten it.....that's what other jeans do.....;)
Heh, Bunz iz neet tingz! ....... none of those trip my trigger. For me, in a word... shapeless.

One has to have bunz to begin with......if suffering from what umanbean is.....no pants are going to be a remedy...;)

You have been getting much better advice than I would be able to give you... I would get out the superglue and some sort of something to take the weight off the cable. Probably a block of dectorative wood I could staple or tape the cord onto.

Sounds to me like a job for 3-D Printerman .. ;)

Yeah, unc. Great job explaining. I pretty much thot of all the other solutions just couldn't figger out why the switches wouldn't werk. Witch wuz my original qwestion.
I'm assuming the matrix switches are powered so gives it a little push. (I'm not going to read all da specs on 'em since I may lern sumpthin!) But since the tv still does work (unless I need it LOL) don't see spending that much til it really dies.

I bin jury riggin' stuph all me life. And rarely try to jerry rig. (Yes, mother, there is a difference)

I appreciate the input from all!

What is the difference between jury rigging and jerry rigging? I actually looked that up just a couple of days ago, and the stuff I read said that they have become interchangeable over the years, although "jury rig" is the older of the two phrases, and was at one time the "correct" one.

Jury rigging is repairing to be as good or even better than the original.
Jerry rigging... think McGyver. Chewing gum and bailing wire. May work once or twice.

OK .. I always thought Jury Rigging was when you swayed a Jury using various nefarious methods ..

Your definition of jury rigging is unusual. Most definitions say it's a temporary fix made with whatever materials are available, ie, same as McGyvering and jerry rigging. Some definitions even add haphazard to the description.

Jup.....he's an amazing QB. Would love to see him retire on top! Jup, now you know my shame........I'm a huge dolphins fan! We used to be good! lol Still have tons of talent, just can't seem to put it to good use often enough.
Sweetie even though there is not a prayer in heck of them ever being any good I still root for my home town team... the Lions.

There is no shame in rooting for the Dolphins to compare to that.

A perfect football year for me is
Michigan beats Ohio State
Texas Tech beats A & M
The Lions beat anyone

Well, i'm unusual! LOL. But to me, jerry rigging is a recent phenomenon. Always used jury. Then again, so many language things changed out of ignorance. Slippery slope used to have a different meaning (I believe you'll find that in lady chatterly's lover). As well as dork. (Part of a whale)

Have you tried aerosol contact cleaner, something like Deoxit D5, on the HDMI 1? If wiggling the cable makes a difference, sounds like it may just be a bad connection probably caused by oxidation or corrosion?

Yeah, baby!!

Anyway, you should always wash your balls and fingers the old fashioned way - with a stiff brush!

LOVE the soundtrack! That is one of my all-time favorite music videos... won a handful of awards after it came out... stop-action I think they call it?... maybe some clay-mation mixed in too. Anyone who's never seen it, search youtube for 'Sledgehammer' Peter Gabriel - click the first one... turn it up.

Here, playing it right now so, I'll just stick it in:

Music is fantastic, but that crazy eyes thing!

No I can see the connection itself wiggle around when I move the cable. Really loose. HDMI2 is solid.
My netbook power plug did that. It got so loose it wouldn't stay in place to connect well enough to even charge. Took it in & the guy glued it down. He said it was just held in place by one of those sticky foam pad things. Had no more problems! Find a way to glue that connection in place.
