I have are istick TC40W and I don't think their TC functions are very good. They only work with nickel as well.

There is an "easter egg" for the eleaf 40. It will also function with titanium. I don't remember exactly what the combination is to kick it into Ti mode but it can be found in the eleaf forum. I have a couple and use Ti on occasion.
