wut?

i thought i welcomed him/her

did i screw up yet again?

Naw, it was Gary - you know it is always Gary's or Iffy's fault - even when they are not here - it is still their fault... Been that way for a while - no need to change the rules of the board now - it might upset the general population if we changed mid field...

but, you may change like a flower slowly opening

Morning! Just wanted to say I'm loving the Van Morrison posts. I honestly have never heard anything other than his stuff that got radio airplay like Brown Eyed Girl. I had no clue how talented he is. I'm gonna have to check more of his stuff out.

But when my wife asks me why I spent all day on YouTube instead of getting anything done, I'm blaming you!:D

somebody please, please remind me to do my taxes sometime soon
    Do your taxes sometime soon.

Christina asked then what my granddads name was, and I said, "Clarence" sort of drawing the name out. I couldn't keep a straight face as my wife reached over and popped me on the shoulder and David just started laughing. I think it was a couple days before Christina started talking to me again. I know, I'm a bad Papa. lol
The tendency in my family to use middle names as first names was so bad that my paternal Grandpa, John Shirley Bellware, went by Shirley.

    it's all good

i've been advised to take anti-depressants, but, honestly, venting on ecf has been my anti-depressant of choice for several years now.

so, i'm good. i imagine, i'll always end up "good" until i take that last fateful step.

bless everyone for offering me support in this thread.

totally out of character for me to say, but i love you all
    And we love you, Dennis!

Well thought I would report in. Friday was pretty eventful for me. As you know one of my sockets wasn't fitting right so this prosthetist made me a new test socket. He decided to use it for a while and see how it worked. He attached the ankle and foot to it with some glue and fiberglass. He said he would reinforce it after I tried it. Well I took my first step with it and it broke, the ankle and foot came off and down I went. Luckily I didn't break anything. I think he was in complete shock as was I. I didn't break anything but was pretty sore yesterday. Needless to say I wish I had my old leg man back. He has since reinforced it a lot and it fits pretty well but what a shock that was. He just sat there for a while and didn't even try to help me back up to the chair finally he did. Glad Ginny was there to see it. Hard floors.

So they did not have bars are or anything for you to hold on to for your first test of pressure? Just made you pop up, to fall flat? Wow ignorance at its finest. Seriously glad you are okay and hopefully getting better.

Worked my behind off today. Tore the old railings off the stoop and stairs of our rental house and began rebuilding them. Lots of sawzall action and lifting 4x4 posts outta the ground. Then replacing the posts and using steel brackets and screwing them to the brick stairs. Got two in with two to go. Needless to say by the time 8:30PM rolled around I was sore and tired so I went to bed. Right to sleep until about 20 minutes ago when my body woke me up. Needed drugs! Now I'm sitting around waiting for them to kick in. Got a lot done but, I'm not used to this stuff any more! Matt hurts!!!:shock::shock:

Matt...you better just quit with all that hard work!!!

You gotta save your strength and energy for the Odyssey!
