vape" data-source="post: 17594187" class="bbCodeBlock bbCodeBlock--expandable bbCodeBlock--quote js-expandWatch">True! I'm old enough to remember beef & pork that had none of the additives, & it was much better! I am a carnivore!Ooo, Just spotted this (Is this thing on???) To try and explain, Moose is not too much different from "NATURAL" beef (most "flat landers" haven't had NATURAL beef. What you get is "processed" (hormones, a "special diet" and additives & preservatives in the "processing" process.) beef. We use it in steaks, roasts, burger and sausage and the hide is 100% water proof so it makes great clothing too! Bear is an acquired taste, whether it's black or brown. Costal bears (both) feed on fish and MAN can you taste the fish!!! Mountain bears feed mainly on other small mammals and berries and their taste reflects that. Elk & Caribou are in the same realm as Moose, being in the Deer family, but are a bit lighter & sweeter in flavor. As with Moose, they BOTH make EXCELLENT Roasts, Steaks, Burger and Sausage (Summer, Breakfast, Polish & Hot Dogs!) As with any "natural meat" it is fairly rich and as a result, if you're not accustomed to it, you're gonna poop a little more than usual. (Hey! Maybe I've found a new prep! "Eat 2 pounds of Moose meat and call me in the morning!" HA, Ha!!!) Then again, fried eggs do the same thing to me!!!
Good morning, Porch Peeps.....my mood for the day is relaxed, hope you all feel it too!

I know!Oh so nice ... I want to sit there with my morning coffee.
I just ran across this video of a dogdancing competition, I had no idea this was an actual formal organized thing. Kinda cool.
Thanks my friend. Looking forward to a week from now. Can't wait to meet you and Janet.

I have a friend with a deck elevated among the trees like that.Oh yeah! I could sit there happily for a good long time!
Moose is excellent so is Elk. Carribou I didn't like except in sausage and bear at least the stuf I had was the greasiest stuff I ever ate. Buffalo is excellent, he used to always cook these big rolled roasts a little stringy but excellent makes great hamburger too its a little on the dry side because there is very little fat in the meat. Buffalo that is and Moose steak is to die for.Buffalo! Tis yum! I've always wanted to try moose, bear, elk, & caribou. Never had an opportunity for those..
Oh, I wuzn't!@garyoa1; I don't know whether you were kidding when you said you had trouble finding t-shirts with pockets. Anyway, I get Stafford pocket T-shirts from JC Penney. They're fairly heavyweight fabric and hold up pretty well.
that was great! Loved that blue merle something that won. thought the newfie was great too, better than the lil dog that won, but that's me.I just ran across this video of a dogdancing competition, I had no idea this was an actual formal organized thing. Kinda cool.
I told a gynecologist that once.....told him to figger out a way to do what he had to do, while standing beside me........cuz I wanted him within reach cuz if he hurt me, I was GOING to hurt him back!! He was quite gentle!Me too. I've had him straddle my chest with knees on the armrests. Sucketh badly! I always tell em that if I hurt, then he will. In that position I am absolutely sure he didn't want to hurt me.
Dat's what da hangout is for.....just sayinIt would be nice to get together and swap stories.
yummmmm have't done a buffet in a very long time. We've ordered delivery a couple times though.Just got back from the chinese buffet, gotta stop doin that, way too full #firstworldproblems

I'm sure it feels that way, but there are folks who think of y'all and pray for y'all and others. We ARE the silent majority nobody thinks of, or for that matter, understands....
I've said hi to ya twice ding dong!! Kinda hard to miss my posts! heheheDeba Deba Doo, where are u?![]()
heheheNever trust what person will say when on the gas. lol
Glad you like it!!The only con to it is that it is pretty complicated to put together and get running, but once you get it settled in, it is good, and the complication is not much of a problem for a genius like me.
It has good airflow, adjustible from top and bottom.
So far it has been a good adv.
The only time I had it, someone had made hamburger out of it. I think they tried to add some sort of fat to it, since it's so lean to fry it up.........they didn't make burgers out of it, just fried it up crumbled. By the time I got some, it had cooled off, and just tasted like they'd mixed some crisco with it. It was awful.Gotta LOVE Buffalo meat though!!!)
wahoooooooo what DIY did you make??? See Kenna..... sometimes specifics help heheheAt least our first FULL (100 ml.) batches of DIY turned out AWESOME!!!![]()
