I got Last Rights twice so I think I am a shoe in. Except for that Army priest that told me I was going to Hell for going to Communion without going to Confession. Never will forget that. Man if thats all it takes I'm in trouble.
I expect when i die the devil will show up for me in a limo, got a nice cushy desk job all picked out for me, luxury accommodations, hot and hotter running lava, central heating, the works!

Good grief! 13 pages to catch up on! Yikes. Just gonna jump in here and try to catch up later.

This week was planned for getting everything ready to leave on Sat. for the Odyssey. Oh well, best laid plans and all that. This past Sunday our DIL called to say the roof got damaged in the last wind storm, then we had the rain and snow which caused some heavy leakage in the apartment upstairs causing those tenants to abandon their apartment. That left our DIL wondering what was going to happen in her apt. when they were no longer there to empty the buckets. So, we've had our DIL and the golden child here since Sunday. We got word today that the roofers are coming tomorrow so DIL and Miles will be going home on Thurs. Our son is away on business. It looks like we're going to have to hustle to get everything ready and packed on Friday, but we'll manage. We'll probably forget something, but oh well. Just hope I don't forget to pack something important like the undies!!

Oh noooooo!! Please don't let me be the thing you forget to pack on Friday.....

Good golly Ms. Molly.....I have HELL keeping up with you folks when I am at work. I suspect next week when you all are at the Odyssey it will be even worse because I'm working over three days at another base.

@2legsshrt I just couldn't like those pictures of you in the coma. I'm just super glad you're here with us today.

Mike, that was a precious picture with you and your grandson. Enjoy all that time. I'm glad that some kids still get to spend time with their grandparents. I hardly EVER get to see my two grand girls. When I do, they act like I don't exist. Why should they? The barely know me. I'll never get to see them grow up and all that good stuff. It's something that hurts my heart every time I think about it, so I try NOT to think about it.

I hope you all have a grand time at the Odyssey. Something else I'll miss out on.......the freaking story of my life.

Well... to be fair, in the sense that Ken is using it, it is an acronym.
B.A.E.
Before Anyone Else

I hear it's popular to use nowadays in place of 'baby'. It may mean 'before anyone else'. But,the fact that it sounds so much like 'baby' is what reminds people to keep saying it.
Yes, everyone from my nieces' generation on down keeps using it. For some reason, it just puts me in a bad mood when my Fakeboob account is flooded with it.
"Look at me and my poop dancing"
"There is no one better than my poop"
"My poop and I on our first date"
"My poop took me to prom"
"Driving with my poop through the countryside enjoying the scenery."
"My little poop in the bathroom, brushing his teeth"

It all just puts me in a bae mood.

Wholly porches.. take a lil' time off to ready fer da Odyssey and I'm soooo far behind (part of a report card report my parents received [only] once)...

First off, I must address the following quote. It has burdened my heart, soul and mind since posted!

No...my heart just hurts

Was gonna PM ya, but have had a fear that others may have had a like concern.

You are my first truly most positive influence and f-to-f ECFer. I can not ever thank you enough for your charm, class, care and concern!

If my 'delete' post prompted your post, mea culpa, mea cupla, mea maxima culpa. I could never criticize you in any way.

I just was questioning the why. And you were just the messenger (as you have been soooo many times before)! Again, that's why we call you Classy... especially those that have had the grand opportunity to meet you.
If your heart hurts for another reason, then we'll do all we can to ease your aches.
flowers.gif

Just was surprised! Most men either don't like animated films...

Whaa... I used to live fer Sat mornings! Den dere was 'The Big Top' and subsequent westerns.

... and wow that thing is huge!!

Sure hope we're talkin' 'bout fishing!

(((((((Classy))))))))) did we do that to you, or just compound something else that made your heart hurt? Either way, I'm so sorry.

Likewise!

She had 17 bones broken and they had to do emergency surgery to save her life - still walks with a limp today - that is one decision that I would like to change if I ever had the chance... Just sayin...

Whoa! Semi et al, life is a gift! Cherish each and every moment that you can. Challenges and sorrows are inevitable when one cares. It's easier to blame our selves or fate. But we do what we can when we need!

As far as 'going back', I'd go back only 10 years with the cognizance of Patty's early tumor symptoms. Other than that, got 'nuff stories to bore even Matt!

Not one of us knows what God's plan for us may be, but I have faith that the hardships in our lives are still part of his plan. In my heart, I feel that they are necessary to prepare and strengthen us for things that are to come. I believe that. I have to.

Amen!

There are nights that I lay awake, thoughts of things I've done about which I'm ashamed running through my head. I know I'm forgiven, but forgiving myself is a whole 'nother ball game. If I could take a mulligan or twelve, I'd do it in a heartbeat!

Again, amen!

Please note, I'm saying all this in the open for anyone to see. Not hiding in the dark taking pot shots.

Day-um Kenna, ya sure ya don't have a pair of phur-lined handcuphphs?
icon_wink.gif

As Gary can attest, I am not innocent as regards policing others' use of written language, but let's be a bit more merciful, OK?

If it hurts, it werks...
mock.gif

Matt doesn't use pauses when he speaks.

Don't let dat stop ya from hittin' da Odyssey!
toothy.gif

Think they had enough machines?

Apparently, ya still posting (thankfully)!

As I've already stated....the thread has hit a new low....bathroom humor is disgusting !!!

Running water does help...
LMAO.gif

bolt.gif

there are other things that are posted quite regularly that others find disgusting but we deal with it, and don't complain about it.

Hear, hear...

... neglect the semicolons.

Just as long as ya don't ignore me...

And my Dad corrected me for saying "you know" too much.
emoji47.png

Oh my, major flashback to when I was 'bout 8 y.o. I used to use 'you know' so much, our neighbor named their new puppy You Know. Ya know, I was a lil' proud to help! No so my Mom & Dad...

Gotta teach the little guy the important things to do in the afternoon.

IMG_3993_zpsbyxllqj6.jpg

And a fine teacher you be!

I don't get the monkey puppy baby commercial. I'm probably missing something hilarious!

Me too! At least it didn't hang 'round very long after da SB.

Too bad it came through at night, or you would have been able to play golf. I play golf like hail.

Whaa... I used to live fer Sat mornings!
Six days, 23.5 hours of waiting, then: Mighty Mouse! Side benefit: being inundated with this commercial jingle: You'll wonder where the yellow went, when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent!

Sure hope we're talkin' 'bout fishing!

My thoughts exactly! I shouldn't talk tho. I say babe, but I don't call anyone baby except my kids & grands. And i don't like being called baby. Call me anything else but baby. My grandparents are the only ones I ever let call me that. Somehow coming from them it was comforting. Like a verbal hug.
