Older Folks and Vaping Back Porch - Part Four

Crashes are learning experiences. (Flyaway lost quads are much more expensive learning experiences.) Here's one of my crashes, from the winter before last up in NJ. That's me sitting on the bench, with my back to the tree that I crash my quad into, having forgotten that the tree was there. I'm using the iPhone screen attached to the remote control for First Person View and not watching the quad itself.

Patty likes her leftover pizza cold. If I'm gonna have any, I use da t-oven. In my experiences, microwaves tend to 'soften' 'em.

Try putting the slice in a frying pan and cover it for a minute or so. It keeps the crust from getting soggy.

Seriously again, fer any of our recent porchers/porcherettes, dis will not be your father's vaping convention. Hopefully it won't be da last 'gathering', but why take da chance!

Very cool Bells. And you even added music! How come there isn't another soul around? There's cars and obviously a large building that people must be in. Nobody want to see what you were doing out there?

Nothing like sleeping in to lead to a productive burst. Some know I'm in the market for a new to me vehicle. Have it narrowed down to 2 and made the calls to line up the test drives for tomorrow to go visit the mechanic friend. I like them both so the determining factor is going to be which one he thinks he will be spending the least amount of time getting up close and personal with.

Good luck to you on your new wheels. We've made out well over the years with used cars and you're smart to have your mechanic check it out.

<waddling up to da keyboard> OK, don't hate me... but we just wiped out sum flippin' awesome homemade fresh grouper tacos! Yepper, dat grouper ate it's last bait mid-morning, thanx to a fellow ramp rat buddy.

Only used one fillet. May have to make sum fish n' chips later this week... or tomorrow...

i'm so jealous... went to a vegetarian restaurant for breakfast/lunch, thanks to my vegetarian daughter. blecch...

That building is the main building at the retirement village where Dad lived, and where my stepmom still does. It was really cold outside that day in January 2014, but it's a lot more fun to fly a quad copter than it is to watch somebody else flying one. My record number of spectators was about seven, and that included the cops in the two police cars that arrived after someone called to report a UFO.

Man this upgrade for the SXM coming out next week sounds like it's going to take some learning. You are going to be able to set the TCR with the decimal pt and 0's like.000035 plus it will have a temp offset setting so you'll be able to use any wire you want probably even plutonium. LOL Should be something. I suppose I'll get all this loaded in and the chip will go TU. So you'll be able to use the NiFe and Resistherm whatever that is.
