It is so strange - it feels like the just started the last porch a few weeks ago and here we go again...

Well then for this thread to beat the last one - it has to hit the mark before 9 Feb 2016 - get cracking ya'll...
I'll post a picture of ours when the sun comes back up!We haven't gotten a picture of our new digs yet. We have redecorated, and now have a screened-in porch. Too far south to bother with windows. I think it is large enough to accommodate our expanded membership.
You all an set yourselves down here anytime.
I though we did too but, it's been longer than that hasn't it?

Nothing special really, just haven't made a whole roast chicken in ages. Also, wanted to try the convection oven. Didn't shorten the cook time at all so I'm not sure what's up with that. When it was finally done it was moist and delicious though.
Scared me for a minute there. I was doing my evening check in prior to hitting the hay and couldn't post anything other than likes. As I was a couple of pages behind I hadn't seen the new back porch announcement (thanks Mike). I rebooted my phone and clear my cache and still no worky. Thought I had been banished or something for a minute there then it occurred to me that we had been discussing the change over. Phew... Was I relieved. I think I'd be lost without you guys. Made me realize that and think that maybe we need to come up with an emergency plan to get a hold of each other if the worst happens and we lose the board or something. Not likely I know but, plan like it will and pray that it doesn't. 20 years in the military taught me to ALWAYS have a backup plan. Could save your life.
So with that thought to occupy your mind (I'm serious about needing a plan) I bid you all Goodnight and will see you in the AM. Love you guys, that's why it scared me so bad.
Checking in! I think I joined the porches when #3 started and it was the best thing I have done in many years. I am not always very active, but I read every post and value everyone's words, opinions, advice, sorrows and joys. What a fantastic group of people. Thank you for making me feel so at home.

The Hangout is a partial solution. There are some that don't use it, for whatever reasons. I agree with Matt.
