Runs in mine too on my dad's side. I left my oxygen generator downstairs and ran a 25ft hose up to my bedroom. Couldn't even hear it. Thankfully I don't need it any more. Used it for almost 2 years after my cancer surgery. My right lung has expanded to fill the space now and my blood oxygen level runs around 95 or so now.Hi, Matt! I just wanted to see how you were doing and I wanted to let you know that I, along with my husband, am pulling for you. You are so kind to everyone and so deeply appreciated. I just love the people on this thread and in this entire forum! I wish I had found vaping twenty years ago! But, don't we all ... sigh. I was on night oxygen for nearly a year and went off because my breathing improved a great deal on year four. I wore a little oxygen sensor on my finger at night and had some studies done. I was so upset at having that noisy oxygen concentrator running next to the bed that neither my husband nor myself could get any sleep. After lots of swimming, I improved. My oxygen levels only dipped down to the high 80s -- low 90s while I was sleeping. I hope to keep improving with lung exercise.
I just can't run on that darn treadmill! I feel like a giant female guinea pig running on a hamster wheel! I have three stents and one tiny artery that is too small to stent. Heart disease runs in my family -- on my mother's side -- and I inherited all the stuff on my dad's side too! I lucked out in the genetic lottery!!!My next stress test won't be until November or if I am luckier, sooner. I want to get it over with so in case I need more surgery, I am cleared with no problems. Hang in there!!!
I live out there, Janet. I have been known to fall asleep to the sound of crickets while reading, and not wake up until the morning birds are chirping.
what are you lookin at?![]()

Well, sawdust is fiber too, but yep, read the whole label first.....it'll do ya good.Ok Gracie, found some flax seeds in the pantry.....sprinkled just a tad on my yogurt. Looked at the label it said 2 Tablespoons was a serving size......good grief. Ok.....dumped some more on..... looked at the label again.....all is really had nutritionally for the 90 calories it had was some fiber.....not a good trade off really......now i have sawdust in my yogurt!!That'll teach me to read the WHOLE label first. I typically do, but today is not typical in any way
Ah, was wondering how she is doing and glad that all is well!I just got off the phone with our favorite oldbroad. She asked me tell everyone Hi and we will most likely see her tomorrow. She's been busy getting the heavy stuff done while she had helpers, and the move is going well.
Oh, I certainly am! She worked hard and waited a long time for the results. Then came the e mail that had "CONGRATULATIONS' on top. She is quite the happy gal right now!Congratulations! You should be proud of her!
I know, Janet! Makes me feel like I should go back to dreamland.....I was up at 6 this morning, and promptly went back to sleep for another hour of sleep!I woke up this morning and wondered why I was waking up so early - it was still dark outside. But the clock said it was 7:00!! Oh no! I don't like it when we loose so much daylight!
In order to get the camera close to the creek I have to get myself close to the creek. When I fly the quad from near my house, there are trees all around me that make me have to elevate in order to maintain communication between the RC and the quad. As you saw from my "down at the creek" video, I've got no margin for error if I walk down near the creek bank and try to fly low to the water. Tree canopy everywhere.
Hey, little bitty! We missed you, too!what are you lookin at?![]()

That's impressive, Gary. Inspires me to find out if I can do that with GIMP. For anyone interested, GIMP is open-source photo editing software. In the 2 years since I downloaded it I learned to use it for only one task, but it handled the task nicely. That task was straightening the camera-induced curvature at the corners and edges of a digital photo taken with a wide angle lens.Polarizer!

It rained all night here. Started off & on around noon yesterday & built to a steady rain. We had flood & tornado warnings going off on tv all night. I slept with the tv on, just loud enough to wake me when the warning alarm started up. The worst of it seems to have gone around my area, although the usual part of the driveway is flooded. It will stay flooded for a couple of days because the little field next to it drains into that driveway. But the field itself is not underwater, which has happened before. It's supposed to rain off & on the rest of the week whixh means more flooding. We are so close to the coast, with so much bayou area, that our water table is really high. There's just no place for the water to go. It has to just run off as the flooded bayou's go down.Hi, Debadoo! I was so hoping that I would hear some news from you about the hurricane hitting TX. Is everyone okay? I hope it broke up as it reached land. We had some wicked bad hurricane weather in the Cape and outside Boston, but luckily it diminished as it reached land. Hurricanes are so weird. They are also scary. We taped our windows several times to keep the glass from shattering.
I am now scared of doctors. I have iatrophobia (fear of doctors) and coulrophobia (fear of clowns)!!!! Every time I see a doctor, they find more wrong with me so I figure I ought to stay away from them!!! Every time I see a clown, I injure myself running away from them. Then if I see a doctor in a clown suit, it's a hysterically funny heart attack.
Only maybe three more surgeries and I might be healed! But I'm afraid to tell them how many years I actually smoked. I am scared they will no longer like me. I had doctors really yell at me after I could not quit smoking after having a heart attack. I was able to go two to three weeks without a smoke and I tried with all my will power to quit, but never made it off completely until I discovered vaping. I think it's a miracle ... an act of God. And I'm not clowning around either!
It rained all night here.
Yep 2 cute polarizers there. They tend to polarize the hunters vs non hunters.Polarizer!

We've gotten a fair amount of rain, but nothing like the gully washer they predicted! Prediction was 2" per hour, and I don't think we got that. We were right in the path of this thing, with flash flood alerts all week, some creeks may still breach here.....but seems our rain is done til Friday then it will rain through at least the next monday.Hi, Debadoo! I was so hoping that I would hear some news from you about the hurricane hitting TX. Is everyone okay?
