If my PV shows "atomizer short" when I hit the fire button that means buy a replacement atty...........right?!
Generally. I would need a lot more detail to diagnose. I think a Temp Control coil on a standard VW device might, I say might, read as a short. Haven't actually tried on to know. otherwise I would say yes but, I would just change atomizers and see if that corrects the problem before throwing the old one away.

Is it an atty w/ replaceable 'coil heads'? Could just be the coil and not the whole atty.

The Golden is Sara. The Boy Dog on the left is the one that has chewed the wisteria into a stump.
Pretty hound dogs!:)

Means that whatever the PV "sees" on top is too low a resistance for the PV. Exactly what's going on depends.... if rebuildable, maybe just built too low. Or may be you tightened the topper too much, crushing down the connection insulator.

In general, when coils go bad, they usually go open, not shorted. (Note - usually!)
I agree. Dropping on da floor could cause the leads to short to each other of smash the coil together and lower the resistance enough to appear as a short.

I neglected to say that I dropped it on a tile floor :shock:so I don't think it's the coil per se. I tried it on an Eleaf and a Provari and the result was basically the same. It's a GS Air TC.
That'll do it!
Have the same problem with 2 iclear 30 tanks. Hit the floor... dead. No clue why.
See above
Yep.........can't count on modern technology to last any time at all. :glug:

Might try just reseating the coil first; could have been knocked loose. That has happened to me. Reseating the coil fixed the problem. If not new coil. The topper itself should be OK if the tank didn't crack or something.
Might work as well.
ummm? You're not using the .15Ω Nickel coils w/ that tank on a Provari are you? That Ω is too low for the Provari.

Tried that as well. Reason I'm asking is that it is the TC technology and since I'm not that familiar with it I thought there might be a reason for failure other than dropping it. It's no great loss for me since I am a vaper for almost five years now and don't have mosquitos in the house anymore (wait......what?).

P3 should fire it.........yes/no?
Nope, see below.
The P3 won't fire a .15Ω coil .... too low res. The Nickel TC coils/heads are only meant to be used with a TC mod. The P3 isn't one of them. Your eLeaf might be, for example the iStick TC40. The 20, 30 and 50 are not TC mods.
What he said.

Thought I would try the multi quote thing as I am on the Mac and not my phone so it works better and I can see what I'm doing.:)

Nope. After changing the coil, nothing else to change. Iclear base is one piece. Kinda. Looks like the center is pressed in but again... no clue why it would die from a fall.

I think it's a combination of this and definitely a lack of chocolate!! Did you find those missing Hershey bars yet?? so sorry you aren't sleeping well, hope that clears up pretty dang quick! Don't wanna go back to that routine!

definitely all in good fun!!!! ;)
jup!!

Lulu, hope it's just the coil on your iClear, but I would imagine you've tried just putting a new coil in, and trying it on a different mod.

It's going to be in the mid-70's today! I wanna play outside! Maybe I'll get a fishing pole and go to the small lake close by here...
oh boy!!! Sounds like a fun day!! that's pretty warm for y'all for November isn't it? hope it means we'll have a mild winter this year.

Sitting at the drs office. Bloodwork, flu shot, & getting my back looked at.
Good!! Hope they can help with some stuff.

I can't wait to get the new directory, however, I'm always surprised at how others have aged over the 20+ years I have been going to this particular Church.
Glad you're getting used to being single.....can't imagine how hard that is. So nice to have a church home that you've been in so long huh. I don't get to go very often now, but have been in my church for about 25 years. It's a very tiny one and that suits me just fine!

Was 25 this AM. Well tomorrow is the big day to find out why my wife is still bleeding internally. I am trying not to think of it being anything that can't be fixed. Don't know what I would do without her. She is all I have left here that is important. Still have my grandaughter but she is in Texas.

((((((((Legs)))))))))))) prayers for you both. I know it's hard, but try not to worry about the worst, it hasn't happened yet. Hoping it's something very simple that they can take care of, possibly the meds. You know we're here for you no matter what.

Yeah I have this crazy urge to buy equipment. Better let the xanax wear off a little. Want to order some more SX's before they are gone. Been out of production since August and Perry at Varitube still has some LE Silver on Silver ones. They are coming out with the ML but it is just an M with a slightly different case and a G coming out in spring which is just an M that takes 2 batteries. Am I rambling. ramble ramble rambler. My first car. Oh no it was a Studebaker me bad.

Nope wasn't had 3 of them, great dependable cars that were ahead of their time. I had I think it was a Sky Hawk can't remeber but it was made in the 50's I think with toggle switches and heaters under the seats it was way cool. Maybe it was a commander been a long time. Thanks Matt

oh that's awesome! At one time my (now) ex and I had a 69 baracuda. Loved that car. Wish we could have afforded to fix it up. It needed lots of TLC
