An inch and a half of rain expected today. I think I will stay home.

I am drinking half-caf now, switching to decaf in afternoons and evenings. Sleeping much better.

A tornado siren would not wake me up. :D and

Yeah, we have that same storm heading this way .. and it's a cold drizzle outside this AM .. this morning, I feel like I fell out of the pain tree and hit every branch .. but you know what .. ?? We power on thru, don't we .. ?? Even at my age, my personal motto is "I'll outwork any 20 year old, it's just gonna take me longer" ..

I wish the doggone storm would come on already. Every time I use that stinking weed eater, I get so doggone sore, and my shoulder hurts this morning. That's all right, though, because in a little while, I get to sit down and discuss treatment options. I already KNOW I outwork any 20 year old!!

I don't know about you but, sometimes I get really sick of "powering on." ;) But, hey, watch gonna do? :)

It's better than the alternative, Boo.

Until a Body transplant becomes commonly available thru Flesh and Blood 3-D printing, we've got to make best use of what we have .. because it's all we have .. :)Ken, get to work on that .. ;)

I've been shopping around for body parts for quite some time now. Can't find 'em, and if I did, I probably couldn't afford them.

I solved the problem. Took my gutters down.
I am just that way if I ever get tired of doing laundry I will just go nekkid :)

I don't have much laundry to do when I'm home. I walk around here with as little as possible on my back. Clothes are overrated!!

Oh man the annual fall cold has turned into bronchitis.

Oooph, sorry to hear you're under the weather! Get well soon!!

Belated Happy Birthday, Seapeach!!

What you talkin' bout, Willis .. ??? I got all dressed up today and nobody even noticed .. ;)

Well we been looking at your noggin' for awhile now ... maybe a .... shot would attract more attention. :D

Hope to be done spending for now, so I can start to reap the monetary benefits of quiting cigs :)

Hold tight to that thought ... not to be discouraging ... but that's some famous last words stated by many folks around here .

That is OK as long as you don't smell like Pepe!

Things to do today. . . lengthy stay in the shower.

Orneriness tempered with lotsa love is a true blessing

I am truly blessed
smileys-praying-820668.gif
because I have a surplus of reserve orneriness.

Oh and Rat ... you didn't have your pants on backwards ... you were just 'styling'.

I suppose that is a better way of thinking of it than a "hug myself" jacket to complete my ensemble. Yeah, I was stylin'. . .

but those days are rather fuzzy
So maybe I have had fun before and just. . . forgot. Naw, I would have made a note if I had or taken a picture.

rofl! I love it! Only you hun! (cept it sounds like sumpthin I'd do too)
What about going to supper and looking down and you are wearing two different tennis shoes? Just wondering. . . yes I've done that too

Thanks for all the responses. Today is going to be a much better day. I'm sure of it. I suppose the hardest part for me is a lifetime of seeing him bulletproof and rather quickly becoming a man that does not want my help but. . . needs it. I've always said he was superman and only I saw his cape. As far as I am concerned, the cape is still there

Nevermind, the link didn't work.

By the way I go see my cancer doc at 11:15 for my 3 1/2 year checkup results. I'm sure I'm still cancer free but a little prayer probably wouldn't hurt. Thanks.

You got 'em pal, prayers incoming.

and Kenna..........that is such fantastic news!!!! Sure hope the roid rage isn't too bad for ya hun
I actually slept last night! Needed it after the weekend with the Boy Dog. It knocked all the pain back enough that I didn't wake up everytime I moved. I handle the injections so much better than the pills & IV's.

Good morning everyone. Just decided to get up but have actually been awake since around 4am. Bright, sunny, and cool here. Bad weather is coming later this week but, they say it's going to peter out a bit before the front gets here so it won't be near as bad as the midwest got.

Good Morning Gracie! (Finally beat you to it)!

We have some moving in today, too.

Stop over doing! And let us know what they say, Roto. I hope they figure it out quickly!

I have quarts and quarts of dried mixed fruit. Apples, pears, blackberries, pineapple, cranberries (LOL), pomegranate, cherries. I think that is all. Started using them finally. Fruit soup. Put them in a microwave rice cooker, mix 1 T cornstarch, 1/2 cup sugar, a teaspoon of cinnamon, and enough water to cover. Nuke for 20 minutes. I am eating several bowlfuls a day. Good fiber, and the vitamin content must be up there.

Thinking about Christmas gifts. I've decided to buy my youngest son an MPV like the one I have. Says he's been trying to quit with cigalikes , finds them harsh and not very satisfying. He smokes a pack or more a day.

Also his dad. COPD so severe the doc has put him on temporary disability. One doc (work works for his company) has approved him to return to work after a serious exacerbation, but his family doc won't release him.

I know he's my ex...but he IS my children's father. He's smoking three packs a day, works for Duracell as a mechanic in the powder room (20 years). They call that place the pit, and the air is filled with toxic dust. It's so thick, the tub is black when he takes a shower, but the money is good and feels he can't quit. They live in the boonies on a farm in GA and jobs are scarce, especially after age sixty. He's tried a pen mod, but again, the small tank is a nuisance, so I was thinking at least a 5 ml like my Nauti Aspire. And some DIY supplies. Maybe some pg and vg, nic base, recipes and flavors. I might even mix some up in strengths that might be appropriate for them both.

Questions: Can anyone tell me a tobacco flavor that's good? I avoid it because it makes me crave a cigarette, but I'm thinking they might prefer it for starters. I can send them some premixed fruity flavors custard and cream based, but I don't have any tobacco recipes. They both smoke cheap cigarette brands, whatever is on sale, though they have a preference for Marlboro.

Sounds delicious, but I can't have dried fruit or sugar...that's a lot of sugar when combined. I can't juice either, because of the concentrated sugar, plus you don't keep the benefit of fiber that way.
