We just got Miles yearly daycare photo. It's amazing to think it's been a whole year already. He turned 1 on 12/10. He's such a cutie and is turning into a sweet little boy - except when it's time for a nap!

Thank you so much for the photo of our little porch baby! What a sweet boy!!!!

My kingdom for a rohipnal right about now, i just wish i could quit thinking and go to sleep, depression, anxiety, depression, anxiety, blah blah. Im not in a good place but i did double down on the happy pills so tomorrow should be better, maybe, i hope.

Hope things are going better for you, Russell. Glad you know you can talk here among friends! {{{hugs}}}

Not so hot. She's in hospice now. Not eating much at all. A few bites at most. She had a DNR that specifically states no feeding tube. Really only a matter of time.

Wish I could be there in person to help out...cooking, cleaning, running errands, laundry...just loving on you guys! You're in my prayers!

I want an Uncle Willie's Woodville. Legendary woodwork to say the least. I can make sawdust out of 2x4's.
Willie makes ART! that works. Can you imagine the world class creation's that could come out of His workroom?
Serial numbered collector pieces that would grace any museum.
Schooch over Rembrandt!
Roll over Beethoven
Pis..off Picasso,
Willie has arrived!!!!

Sometimes I just think you might be a little strange my friend. Still my friend but, bananas and roast beast!? :w00t::lol:
Doesn't sound good to me now but it worked at the moment. Maybe I'm pregnant.

There is not a doubt in my mind :) You have nailed it.
Are they home yet? Are you getting snuggle time? The good thing with twins is when one gets tired of snuggles you can swap it out for the other & pick up where you left off! [emoji2] The bad thing about twins is when they both want snugles at once. [emoji54]

Out of curiosity I looked at BestBuy's site for those and almost lost my lunch. For that price they should be gold plated! What happens if you lose contact with it or fly it into the tallest tree around? Do you just pick it up and say oh well or do you raid the 401k again for a new one?
Yes, they're expensive, and about the worst possible investment that anyone could make, except in terms of fun. It's definitely not something to spend the grocery money on.

I think that gold-plating them would make them too heavy to fly well. Yes, raiding the 401K is basically what i did when I started my addiction. When I wrecked one beyond repair I was so discouraged that I held off for over a year before getting another.

I say there are only two types of quad copter enthusiasts: those who have had an expensive lesson and those who have not yet had an expensive lesson.

The price of a DJI Phantom 3 somehow looks more reasonable when compared to something like this:
xFold Dragon x12 Multi-Rotor (RTF, U11 Motor) XF-DR-X12U11-RTF

Yep, those MS Trackballs used to have some, er, balls ..
Many pages of posts I haven't read yet in the past 2+ days. I use Logitech Trackman Marble Trackball mice, and resign myself to the fact that the button contacts are going to start to get flaky within a small number of years. I found a new one recently on Ebay for less than $20, which I think is the least I've ever paid for one.

Good morning porchers. Not much computer time in the last couple days. Just caught up on the porch chit-chat this morning. Quite a bit a fun music to listen to along the way.

I had 2 doctor check-ups yesterday - one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both went well. And a club Christmas party last night. Kaitlin and Janet were babysitting Miles for the day. Kate hasn't seen him since last spring and really enjoyed spending time w/ him.

I think this afternoon we're off to the movies to see the latest Hunger Games, MockingJay release.

My personal Motto is (among the Many I Have Posted Over The years) .. if you like it, if you can afford it, buy it .. I wonder why folks drop the cash on what I consider expensive mods .. yet I don't question why they do it .. it's just something that's not in my wheelhouse .. It's like asking, "Why did you spend $1500 on that camera when your phone has a POS camera .. ?? "

Like a young woman that went by the handle Jewels would say "It's all about perspective" ..
I don't know if this is in the same category, but your words reminded me of several experiences I've had with people, including members of my own family, who launch into condemnations of what the new owners have done with the old place.

I am cold-hearted about such things and I laugh. I ask the lamenter how much they think the new owner cares what the old owner thinks.

Anyone up for some decorating?

I'm old enough to be really jaded about Christmas and its accompanying commercialism but every year without fail when this is posted and I see it I have to stop and watch the whole thing. Love it!!
