I have an app on my cell and tablet to help you sleep that has a bunch of different sounds you can choose from and a timer if you want them to cut off after a while. Everything from Humming Air Conditioner to Summer Rain. You can combine them to make a more complicated sound. I use gentle rain combined with tree frogs and crickets. Great app, really realistic. Sometimes it works, sometime it don't as far as sleeping goes but, seems to bug Doree all the time. Oh well. What's a man to do?

I usually go to sleep to something on tv that is playing episodes of the same show one after the other. My tv has a sleep timer on it that I can set & it turns the tv off at the time I set. There are times I have to reset it, tho!

Well I am tryign to be a happier person after my wife told me I neede to see a shrink. I went on a rampage the other night and all I could think about was I would be better off for everyone if I just died. Last night I prayed for God to help me be happy with my life and what I have left and try to make others happier around me. I don't usually pray for me but got to thinking about it and thought it was time.

You should always pray for yourself, too! God uses you in the lives of others everyday. You need to keep yourself in your prayers so you can be effective at that. You can be helpful to everyone you encounter, even if it's a simple smile, or thank you. You help us here everyday, Legs, just by being here & participating. We look forward to being with you everyday! God uses you, legs, even when you don't realize he's doing it!

At the nursing home with mom. Doree is feeding her lunch. Her mom isn't eating well but, she's eating well today. Maybe it's the "nurse" feeding her. A nice Christmas Eve if for no other reason.
