I have an app on my cell and tablet to help you sleep that has a bunch of different sounds you can choose from and a timer if you want them to cut off after a while. Everything from Humming Air Conditioner to Summer Rain. You can combine them to make a more complicated sound. I use gentle rain combined with tree frogs and crickets. Great app, really realistic. Sometimes it works, sometime it don't as far as sleeping goes but, seems to bug Doree all the time. Oh well. What's a man to do? :)
After years of sleeping onboard a ship, I can't sleep in a quiet house. I always have to have a fan on for the noise. Shoot, I remember having to sleep under the waist cat onboard the Roosevelt CV-42.

Well i guess it was my turn, kids took me to see the new star wars movie, and on the way out of the theater i stepped off the curb and hit the pavement. Hurt both wrists from catching my fall, right cheek and eye hit, so bruised and road rashed, but nothing broken (that i know of) and im ok.

Ouch, it sounds like the force was against you! Tomorrow will be the dickens for you. Take it easy.

I don't fall (yet)...but I can't believe how much more I just flat walk into things.
Dang doorways move over at me when I walk through one.
Sunday I just about took out the entrance door at Target...I was walking through faster than the Automatic Door was opening.

out of my last 6 falls, 1/2 were in when i was in a HO

methinks, i'll be donating my camera to the underpriveleged. that should solve the problem...

Same here, kind of. Since an accident in 2007, my feet don't always go where I expect them to. My balance isn't bad, and it's a darn good thing.

Used to be. Not so much anymore. Mainly they are recommending a battery that can stand the max amp draw of the device. The Sony is a good battery. So are some Samsungs and even some Efest. If AW has a battery with the same amp draw, MaH, and other characteristics of the Sony feel free amd comfortable using it. Amp draw is the important specification here.

Only big other issue is whether the mod in question needs flat or button, or can use either.

Rus, that's the kind of fall that often comes with a broken collar bone. If you have time to think about it (heh heh) roll into the fall and try to not catch yourself with your hands and arms. Not every instinct is without fault.
And beware of rotator cuff injuries. I still get twinges sleeping on my right side from one five years ago.

hope you come out relatively unscathed. My right shoulder is still messed up from that from a fall in 99. That's no way to start Christmas mister!

I wont go into identifying the "force" that brought this and other issues about.
