It's an oldie but a goodie, like many things in life.. "The Stranger" is, arguably Joel's best album, I know it's my favorite .. not a throw away cut in the bunch, IMO .. and, for me, oddly, my favorite track is the one that's most overlooked, I love this song ::

How could I not love that track ?

Last night, Billy Joel was on Fallon, and he sounded pretty good .. in addition, his Band is just excellent .. Mark Rivera (Sax/Flute/Harmonica, etc) I could listen to all day .. at any rate, this one's for Sandy and Gracie ..
Well, now, methinks I'm going to have a VERY RARE glass of red tomorrow night at dinner (which btw will be an Italian restaurant), and guess who I'll toast!
Don't have to worry about neighbors here, but I sure did give hubby a wake up call.....woke him up from a nap and he said.....what's wrong??? Lil ole innocent me was serenading her soul!I wonder.......if the upstairs neighbors can hear me singing along....

Blood pressure isn't a problem. Guys I'm OK. I'm not going cold turkey and have plenty of the small pills. As long as I stay below what I was taking I can take as often as needed to feel "normal."
Never had a buzz off of this either but, I am sure I can't just quit cold turkey. I'll go see the doc as soon as we get back. I was just going to try to cut back some.

4 Oz (120 ml) CLEAR Boston Round Glass Bottle w/ Cap - Pack of 12: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific
I got clear one so I could see if my nic changed color. They are in a cardboard box in the freezer so no light anyway.
And they do have the poly cone seal.
and franks red hot is still cayenne pepper based.
For me it is some Banana peppers or horseradish only.
Must be my grommet plate?

In the traditional sense of the word "buzz", I never got one either .. in my case, it was a warm feeling that made me quite happy, IOW, normal .. the Reward Center of my Brain was quite euphoric .. because I no longer had any pain ..
.. if you want a "buzz", try grinding to powder and snorting, or chew them up .. .. or chase it with a couple shots ..
me either, I did get a bit of the warm feeling in my back, but it didn't get rid of my pain, just lessened it some
Pop a couple 15's immediate release, that always does the trick .. if you're not painless quickly or have no sense of euphoria at that point, you'd likely be dead ..
Well, for me, and perhaps me alone, being pain free was euphoric in and of itself ..
I think the main reason why my DR quit dishing them out was what he told me when he cut me off "Willie, you like these things too much .. " insisting I lose some weight, stretch, exercise more, etc .. oh, and the heart attacks .. Harshed My Mellow, I'll tell you that ..
Yep I have not been pain free for nearly 20 years. I have a degenerative disc disease apparently. My lower spine zigs and zags all over the place.
The pills just made it bearable.
