... but I warned him that he should start out at the higher nic, then work his way down to 0 for those 2 weeks prior to surgery or he was going to be frustrated and give up.
... and I'm more affordable.![]()
Nice Janet (and Mike)! I love v vert stories.
And thank you for thinking of me (iffy too, plus I am sure many others who didn't mention it but I feel the good vibes).
I'm a bit disappointed this evening. My Kindle is starting to poop out on me. The touch screen is starting to not respond properly. I was on the phone with customer service and didn't get any real solution to for it. So I went out and bought a Galaxy Tab A 9.7. I downloaded a Kindle app and it works fine. I do a lot more with it than I could the Kindle. I had the Kindle for over 3 years and everyone I talked to said it has reached the limit of its usefulness. Oh well. Rant over.
Helped a buddy get down to 0mg prior to his shoulder replacement. Dat turd went back to smoking two months later... post-rehab. Oh well.![]()

You are not alone. Sweatpants, short sleeved shirt, and flip flops. Some days it's even worse.

For purposes of the question, let's say that if you choose to time travel, you will spend 30 days in 1985 or 2045 before returning to 2015.

Definitely back for me. I would have done a few things differently, but then, I would not be who I am today.Today is so-called Back To The Future day, the day to which Marty McFly and Doc Brown time-travel in Back To The Future Part II, which was set in 1985 and released in 1989.
BBC TV proposes the following question: given the option to insert your present day self 30 years into the future or 30 years into the past, which option, if either, would you choose?

Definitely back - seeing the future might scare you, but slipping back and possibly correcting big errors / decisions you have made could be beneficial... Can we make it 1982??? Made a big decision that year that I would like to correct...
Despite all the mistakes I've made in the past, I feel like if I had a chance to live those days again, my "do-over" choices might have worse results than the choices I actually made (or didn't make) the first time around.Definitely back for me. I would have done a few things differently, but then, I would not be who I am today.
