... which option, if either, would you choose?

... you will spend 30 days in 1985 or 2045 before returning to 2015.

Definitely da future. Da 30 days proffered in da past wouldn't be long 'nuff fer me to amend my previous 38 years!

Today is so-called Back To The Future day, the day to which Marty McFly and Doc Brown time-travel in Back To The Future Part II, which was set in 1985 and released in 1989.

BBC TV proposes the following question: given the option to insert your present day self 30 years into the future or 30 years into the past, which option, if either, would you choose?

For purposes of the question, let's say that if you choose to time travel, you will spend 30 days in 1985 or 2045 before returning to 2015.
Back, got some things I need to fix.

I think of all the opportunities I'd have to make different mistakes than the ones I made.

Then there's the things that worked out right against long odds. No way would I want to have to beat the odds a second time.

Once was enough.

If I knew then what I know now, I would be in a much different place today. If I were in a position to be a counselor to myself in 1970, then I wouldn't be the person I am today.:?:

And then, of course, you wouldn't give the same counsel to your past self...

Hell, I don't even remember 1985 .. ;) .. so fire up the Flux Capacitor and break out the DeLorean and send me to 2045 .. when I get back, I'll write a book that will be spot on, which will then result in a cult being formed in 2045 surrounding the sheer accuracy of my book .. ;) .. after all, going back in time risks the possibility that whatever you try and change will have future repercussions .. Butterfly Effect and all that .. ;)

Despite all the mistakes I've made in the past, I feel like if I had a chance to live those days again, my "do-over" choices might have worse results than the choices I actually made (or didn't make) the first time around.

There are two decisions in my past that I would like to change - the results could only be better - one is for someone else and the change would improve their lives and the other is just one big thing that I should have said no to and have had to live with that improperly timed yes for a long time now.

And since we get 30 days I would like to visit a few places to reaffirm the memories and I guess giving myself a few hints of the future would not hurt. Monetarily I really do not care - it might be nice, but it may change my life to much, which I would not want to do...

Love the music with bell's video Willie!

Oral surgery went well. Not feeling too bad. Wow, I have not had teeth this nice looking in many many years LOL!
So glad ya got new toofers!! I hate my smile cuz my teeth are in bad shape, so one day I'll likely be goin that route as well.

The photo is real but the accompanying text is a load of you know what. Once it steeps for a while it mixes together,
I'd wondered about that, I have heard there are areas of the dead sea that are becoming fresh water, so didn't know why it wouldn't mix unless the colder water had something to do with it.

So I went out and bought a Galaxy Tab A 9.7.
sorry yur kindle pooped out on ya, but glad you got something you like!

Anyone still up? Lol, any ladies need a foot massage? Haha
oh man, wouldn't ya know it, the night I went to bed early. Of course, my feet are quite sensitive, so there is a small chance with the wrong move, you could get kicked in the head! You up for a challenge????

I'd stay put. Willie's got dibs on the book for the future, we saw in the movies that trying to make a fortune doesn't work well.... and as to the past.....1985 was a miserable year for me, so I don't care to repeat even a month of it. The only bright spot was that I had my brand new baby boy!

i guess they figure the number pad is not needed now
Was so used to 10-key, that I like the number pads.....miss that on this laptop.

I'd opt for the future since I already know my past and am OK with it. Am curious as to what the future holds for my grandchildren.
