Can we get a fuss going on about sports religions?

As far as viewing and being a fan I am a Sports Atheist.
I always liked playing them just not watching them or idolizing sports figures or filling my mind with sports trivia.

Cheerleaders are nice though :thumb:

Yes I AM an abbienermal male.

Actually now that I think about it just plain abbienermal...
No sports for me. I. Do. Not. Care. I do love to watch horse racing. Especially the big 3 races. My Mom loves football & baseball. She & a friend & sometimes my sister, watch the games, & text each other all the way through the games. Especially when their favorite teams oppose each other. She gets pretty loud. I'll walk through the living room & ask who's winning & she'll tell me & then start to talk about the game. I'll sit down & politely let her talk & she'll finally say "You haven't heard a word i've said, have you?" Or "I know. You don't care". She just laughes because she realizes she was that caught up in the game.

Not a Harvey fan, but in his defense they say he didn't read the card. According to some news reports, he read the tele prompter. As pretty much everyone does. And it was wrong. On the other hand... who cares?
That's a good question. I surely don't, Crown the universal airhead! :w00t:

When I was little my grandmother used to make Kruchiki with me and my cousin on Christmas morning. Those are a Polish/Ukrainian pastry/cookie. Just a very light twist of dough that puffs up when fried and then dusted with powdered sugar.

Unfortunately she passed when I was 6 and the recipe passed with her. There are many recipes for them on the internet and they come close but I have yet to find one that is exactly right.

Boy oh boy, do I ever know about searching for a long lost recipe that comes from one's grandmother. My grandmother on my father's side was German, but they immigrated here from Russia....long story I will tell some other time. She used to make Russian black bread.....no recipe on the internet comes close. She didn't use wholewheat flour, but the bread was very, very dark.....nearly black. In addition, she used some kind of tiny black seeds that added a pungent flavor. I've ordered more kinds of tiny, flat black seeds from specialty spice places in my efforts......none of them come close, nor do any of the recipes....:(

elsewhere
found a Goose Juice clone recipe.
  1. Vanilla Ice cream 12.96%
    Butter 2.88%
    Vanilla 4%
    Sweet cream 1.6%
    Vanillin 0.8%
    black Pepper 0.18%
Not sure if it is any good or not though. Black pepper?
It and Grants Vanilla Custard is about all that Todd Vapes though. And Grants is tasty.

Block someone. You know. If I don't want to see their posts. Not that I want to block anyone right now but, I would like to know how.
On ECF just click thier name & a bubble will open with info including an ignore option.

How about a Christmas shopping story...

Okay JCP sent me a 25% off coupon in the mail (did not notice that it was for men's wear). So, got in the truck and went shopping.

Decided to use it for buying my wife some new unmentionables for Christmas. Picked everything out and headed to the cashier.

When I got it all rang up the cashier tells me I cannot use the coupon and hands it back to me - I look at it and say "Why not" -

About this time another young lady walks up and asks if she can help.

"She will not let me use my coupon" - I said handing it to her

She replies - "Uh Sir - this is for Men's Wear" -

My reply - "How do you know that they are not for me..." -

Her reply - "I am not going to touch that with a 10 ft pole - let him have his discount"...

I was a very happy shopper...
Priceless!!!!

No change. Used google, and antihistamine nose spray may open things up.
Has this happened to you before? Or, is this something new? Do you think you should see a doctor about it?

Quick thinking! And, it worked! Probably because of the entertainment value more than anything else.
Finally!

The comments are pretty stupid. But, love the article!

All these family pics are inspiring me to try to get some of my family too. It's hard to get very many of them together at once. But, I'm gonna try.

My left eustachian tube has always been a bit narrow. That is why I thought that the vg was the culprit. I really don't need to see a doctor about it, although it can be a precursor to an ear infection. I think that walk in the wind on laundry day triggered it.

Works good but would not let me put myself on ignore.
Here, I'll do it for you! [emoji72]

Robert? Where'd he go?
Internet is good for that. Posting Under the Influence (PUI) leaves behind undeniable evidence of how obnoxious the person was when drunk. Embarrassing when the person sobers up.
