Good Luck @Kenna I don't see why they wouldn't approve it may be a higher co pay tho, but if that is who you'd feel confident in seeing would be worth it. I'm waiting for Chaudry to call me so he can answer some questions for me. It seems to me that the VA is sort of pushing him at having this nodule removed. He had told them not to give me another CT for at least 6 months but they went on the radiologists recommendation of 3. I just want to find out if it is completely necessary or if waiting will do so much damage, they don't even know if it is cancer. I wish I could've thought of them yesterday but he kind of surprised me with his recommendation was expecting him to say wait for a while.

He's been approved before.

Well I talked to Dr.Chaudry and he said this nodule is not life threatening in his opinion. Not having it removed could be since it is growing theres a chance that it could be cancer. He said it wasn't a good idea for me to have a biopsy because the position of the nodule is such that my lung could be punctured and I'd drop a lung have to have a chest tube on my left side and could kill me with my heart condition. He said he thought the blood I coughed up he thinks was a coincidence and I could have bronchitis. I guess people with COPD get it a lot. So I'm off to see the Cyber Knife people next week. He's fairly sure they will remove the nodule without a biopsy. So that's my story. Guess I should've gotten the KF Prime.

I can't watch the news or new tv shows anymore, I'm just filled with loathing for humanity. The news here has been non stop coverage of a football player and whether the league can suspend him. One Dallas cowboy, out of a whole team. Meanwhile the Astros, another Texas team wins the world series, a church down by San Antonio gets shot up, but this player is top news.

To be honest I think I am going to have to quit vaping. It seems to make this bronchitis or whatever makes me cough stuff up worse. I tried to vape today on some fresh juice completely cleaned my K5s recoiled and wicked and no go. Made it worse. This really sucks but I guess I need to quit so I can keep suckin.

Well, stick around a few more years, anyway. We got people who can talk you into or out of just about anything.

Having written that, I have to wonder why into is one word, while out of has to be two words. Maybe I just need more sleep.

The flight was 24 hours ago, and it wasn't as cold as it looks. It was around 59 degrees. Today, it looks the same outside but it's only 45.

Yep I been on Symbicort for quite a while. May need to get a rescue inhaler tho.

From what I can understand this cyberknife uses a beam of pinpointed radiation and can remove tumars nodules and the like.

Yep I been on Symbicort for quite a while. May need to get a rescue inhaler tho.

Mom has copd. She's supposed to use the Brio inhaler 2x a day, & do a nebulizer treatment daily. She refuses the nebulizer. It makes her cough. (It's supposed to help her cough up the fluid in her lungs.)
