Older Folks and Vaping Back Porch - Part Seven

You notice the one I take is not listed. It has to be recommended by a doctor to get it. The reason the doctor put me on this one is it is supposed to be the easiest absorbing protein. Maybe because he owns much of the company also who knows. It's not for building muscle or losing weight but I am starting to wonder if the one from Costco which on your list is #3. I used to use it all the time but this particular doctor who was considering doing surgery on my bypass and redo it so I would absorb food told me I either needed to get on this or a feeding tube 24hrs a day for 1 month before he would consider it. He is a great doc and I kind of owe my life to him as he was the only doc that knew what was going on when I was in a coma and gave me the proper things to bring me back from near death, the others had pretty well given up on me. He is also the doc that amputated my legs. I know it is recommended for people like me who have had surgery that causes malabsorbtion but it is really expensive. I have a half of a bag of it left. Possibly it would work.. When he first had me start the Metagenics. I could use $150 extra a month to pay my taxes thanks to the tax cut.
If you don’t want to increase calories but increase protein intake. Try Amino Acids no added flavor very little calories. . Just a suggestion. I took them for years and still do. Best wishes

Yep it wasn't bad at all. Time went by faster then I thought it would. My chest hurts slightly now and I'm really tired but other then that nothing like I expected. Figures the mail hasn't got here yet. Don't know if it will he is so late. Hope you didn't spend your big raise we got we only really ended up with a little under 1% WooHoo. Guess its better then nothing. I get a 2% on my Tier1 .7% on my Tier 2 and I think Ginny got 2% can't figure it out yet. Time to go on a big trip. I think I could afford Seattle on a Greyhound. I'll have to sit down and figure it out for sure but it's not worth it right now. Just figured it out and it totaled .9% Wow.

Wow thats the latest I've ever seen the mailman. Just got here 615pm. Must've been a tough day with the snow and the lady at the PO said they had a ton of mail.
I got a big package from my daughter. She bought some mid-calf boots on a whim several years ago because they were on sale. She lives in San Francisco area, and really doesn't have any need for them. They are zip-up, but have laces for adjustment. Moving those laces for my size was a pain, but they fit fine now.

@Iffy! Hope you're enjoying that balmy weather on Florida's Gulf Coast.... yeah, I know that Einstein's theory says it's mighty cold compared to where the temps usually are, but it's 30+ degrees warmer where you are than it is here in eastern NC. I'm in the narrow band of NC that's supposed to get 2-4" of snow between noon and tomorrow morning, but it would be a lot worse if I was in Savannah.

And furthermore.... Happy Birthaversary, Johnny!

Nice boots @3mg Meniere ! They should keep your feet toasty warm.

On another note... :banana::bday: @Iffy !!! :bday::banana:
I just bought some fleece-lined leggings in brown and olive to go with them. I have three pairs, black and grey to go with my black boots; one is yoga pants, which I have to wear with long-johns. Contrary to @Uncle Willie 's dislike for them, I am in the process of a wardrobe changeover from t-shirts and jeans to leggings and long tops. Jeans bind at the waist, and I need more kinesthetic/tactile feedback for my lower legs. Leggings are not just to show off one's eye-attracting figure. LOL! And, of course, boots provide support for weak ankles.
