I've never been much of a list guy. I'm more of a thinker abouter. Makes it easier to procrastinate when there's no hard evidence. That's it! A List! I'm going to start a list tomorrow.

Netflix and the like compress their streams so that they run well at slower speeds I believe. I run a busy household with 20mb. If you're on a low income status Commycast and most other providers have a program for that. Commycast is $9.95 for 15mb I believe. Of course a good device run optimally makes a big diff also. GLIf you had to be sick, at least you did it where you'ld have your puppers to make you feel better! I guess having the puppers was more important than any old list this time.
Glad you're feeling better!
I had planned on getting some kind of wifi extender. Just need a little research first to find which product would work best for me. Melinda seems to think that we need better internet to fix it. I guess it wouldn't hurt. She's in charge of that part.
In the past, I did and believed what the doctor said, too often to my own detriment. At this moment, I am a robot, automatically following through. Most probably for my own good. They are giving me choices, though.I've never been much of a list guy. I'm more of a thinker abouter. Makes it easier to procrastinate when there's no hard evidence.
I know you're beeing funny but because I'm one of those annoyingly super organized people and when there's much to be done making a list really helps me stay sane. A lot of satisfaction in crossing items off of it.![]()
For me, the biggest benefit of having a list is being able to sleep. I mainly make a list when I have things that need to be done that I might forget the next day. It keeps me awake. So, I make a list to get it out of my head!I know you're beeing funny but because I'm one of those annoyingly super organized people and when there's much to be done making a list really helps me stay sane. I'm a list person too, too many things to keep track of and if I don't write it down, I'll forget and it doesn't get done. One time I made a honey-do list because he was driving me nuts not taking care of things. I was very PO'd at that point. When I looked at it tylater, he'd put check marks next to everything - none of which had been done. I asked him what the check mark was for, he said that meant he had read it. Sigh. For my birthday, anniversary, Christmas I always ask for the same thing - for him to do his honey do list. It's become a tradition. Sometimes he actually does one or two of them.![]()

When Nancy was in the hospital, I would sneak in soft serve ice cream from Braum's. Depending on her diet I would take her a Mix which is soft serve with crushed candy bars or cookies. She loved Braum's, a local ice cream shop. And if it's ok with the doc maybe you could bring in some seasonings or snacks that Ginny likes that she can add to her food. Or what about bringing her one of your protein shakes? Or maybe you could make or pick up some food for her as a treat.
When we moved to Oklahoma City from Texas it was winter. We were living in a rental house until we could buy a place. For Christmas, all she wanted was for me to clean out the garage so she could park in the garage. She hated having to clean off the snow, ice, or frost from her car prior to going to work.I'm a list person too, too many things to keep track of and if I don't write it down, I'll forget and it doesn't get done. Me too.I've actually gotten out of bed and made a list just to stop thinking about 'stuff' when trying to fall asleep.
I'll check it out. Thanks!Just an FYI for those interested:
Another program being offered to many people and to check out is "ACCESS" that is provided by AT&T /U-verse . . . only cost $5 - $10 per month . . . For approximately 2 years - I have only paid $5 a month for their 3 megabits per second offer and had no problem with WiFi, even with connecting multiple devices at the same time (Smart TV, Laptop, Tablet, & Smart Phone) - even let a neighbor who uses a Smart Phone & Kindle to surf the net connect too . . . Ya' can learn more and see if it is offered in your area at the link below . . . Just Sayin' . . .
AT&T is offering low-cost wireline home Internet service to qualifying households:
BTW: Even if you don't get Food Stamps/SNAP at the moment, it's worth applying (especially if you have a limited income/senior/disabled/etc.), because if you even qualify for the bare minimum amount you can qualify for a lot more benefits and offers for people who get SNAP too (i.e., Safe Link - Free Cell Phone/etc) . . . That was close!Damn what a morning. Ginny called at 00730 and informed me that she was coming home today instead of going to rehab and the doc said ok. So I'm running around trying to find all the parts to the commode. Wondering what I'm going to do when she can't walk. She put me on the spot and said well you want me to come home right? I didn't know what I was going to do. Well Gdaughter called her and tried to get her to realize I couldn't do it yet. Then the doc said no you need to go to rehab. She said as sooon as they get a bed I called them and they are all ready for her just has to get a little more stable. So she is still going to the Rehab place which is really nice. The neighbor was there I was there when it wasn't so nice the neighbors mother was there. She'll get PT 2 or 3 times a day and get her back on her feet. Man I was like a chicken with his head cutoff. Really had me going for a while. She can't come home yet plus her WBC dropped a little today so they are not quite ready to move her out of hospital yet. Definitely got my heartrate up. Sheesh
She is going to be transferred about 1pm today.
