I've seen parts or all of a fair number of Friends episodes, maybe 20 or 25 of them. Now that I'm watching sequentially, on Netflix, without ads, I've been getting so much more into it. I'm halfway through the first season. I've always thought Lisa Kudrow was great but now I know it for sure.

Also, I went online to find out how to get Dish to display 4 screens, and that's really enjoyable too. I knew of the capability, but hadn't figured it out. Now, I can watch CNN, MSNBC, CBS and BBC News all at the same time, and almost always be able to listen to one that's not in a commercial break. Love it. :)

I suppose I must hold up my part of the thread. My surgery is scheduled for the 16th of November. They will be cutting it off, with the beginning of plastic surgery to re-equalize both sides. I have been hitting the vape pretty hard, but my formulation of juice is expensive. I need to get into meditation, prayer, music, and exercise more. Otherwise I may have to ask my PCP for more meds. Maybe she will just increase my beta-blocker.

My sister will be getting knee replacement surgery on the 14th, so she cannot come up to be with me. We can communicate and support each other.

One of my drivers is burning out on serving inner-city Milwaukee, but he smokes. I gave him 60 ml of my nic stash, to get started. He has a nice high-tech box mod, but being a heavy smoker the juice is too expensive. I won't be seeing him again, but hopefully he can wean off of the stuff, and switch to the transportation service that serves most of the state.

{{{{Mary}}}} I'll be sending some powerful prayers and vibes your way all day on the 16th! Wow, you and your sister are both going to get fixed up at the same time! You're only a phone call away from each other so that's good. Will you have help around for when you get home?

I am hoping that some of my friends from the parish can help. And I may have one or the other of two cousins; they are talking it over. Otherwise, I might have to get a temporary home health care aide through insurance, but that is a last resort.

Oh how sweet! That little baby has no idea the joy he's spreading without even trying! Ginny does look great. I'm so glad she was able to come home for this.

Me too we made the mistake of going to the hospital where I lost my legs instead of downtown. She thought they were going to kill her in there. It hasn't changed, insensitive nasty nurses. When it was time for her pain meds they were going to try to wean her off they thought and they were always late. Things happened like the big bruise on her leg and bruises from top to bottom. We won't make that mistake again. All of the good doctors are at the other one including about 10 Oncologists. The help actually tries to help. She got much better treatment at least by most at the rehab nursing home but it wasn't home.

I finally got a pic of all 3 of them.

I was just sitting here thinking about this place. My dad found it on a chart and we got in our 12' boat and went across the sound and checked it out. It was about 30-40 min from where we could launch the boat. He thought what a great place for an extended camping trip. It was called Portage Cove, BC. Not a soul around for miles, we stayed for a month, he built a lean 2 next to our tent. It took about 3 boat loads of stuff to get everything there. It got it's name because there was a cove on one side and about 1/2 a mile another cove, if you had to go around by boat it was about 30 miles. There was an old homestead there with huge apple trees, he found me an old split off piece of a small log and made me a paddle like a kayak type. There was a spring about 1/4 mile away from our camp. I was about 8 or 10. You could go out in the cove and fish for Rock Cod. There were oyster growing off of the rocks. We'd have to take the boat to get to a little outpost and pick up stuff. You could have fresh oysters roasted on the half shell by the camp fire. What a beautiful spot. We had one visitor while we were there, an old couple who came there every year and stayed on their boat. I am sure there are cabins all over it now this was in around 58. We really did a lot of stuff when I was a kid. Great stuff. I can almost taste those oysters now, cooked by the fire till they opened enough to get half the shell off add butter and let them cook a little longer. Not a care in the world and swimming and paddling and fishing everyday. I don't know if you've ever seen oysters growing on rocks but there was an abundance of them. We would get just enough for dinner. Rock Cod almost everytime you went out. It was fantastic for a kid.

Not a care in the world and swimming and paddling and fishing everyday. I don't know if you've ever seen oysters growing on rocks but there was an abundance of them. We would get just enough for dinner. Rock Cod almost everytime you went out. It was fantastic for a kid.

She went home today so we are on our own again.
What a sweet pic! Hope she can come back soon!
