You could just use something like my home defense system

Picture yourself breaking in to a house, creeping through the dark rooms, when suddenly you hear a blood curdling war cry, you turn and see a 6ft 280lb half Comanche half Viking man in his underwear rushing at you swinging this:

What would be your reaction?

Sent from a dark, twisted corner of the back porch, covered in cobwebs and slightly damp.

RUNNNNN! And probably scream! :shock::shock::shock:

Yes it is, and I am accurate up to 15ft

YAY!

A dear friend of mine in Alberta competes in throwing them. He is Cree though. It is the only reason I know a thing about it.

Wow, I knew a couple of those, but that's a lot! And chocolate wasn't even on the list, but it does say it's only a partial list. Would you assume that those same plants would apply to cats too?
Actually chocolate IS supposed to be on that list. Dont know why it isnt. Scratching my head here. Will repost in a bit

Yeah I would definately do that, a gun isn't something I would get online. Just trying to read the laws which they gave me a book of today, is like trying to read through Medicare or Supplements or anything else involved with the govt. I am just thinking that having a gun in your home maybe even in your chair with you would be some security and when traveling in the motorhome also nice to have with you. Just in case, you just never know anymore, it's a crazy world.
I bought my first hand-gun 25 years ago when we moved to our farm in KY, 45 minutes away from town and about 1 mile away from the nearest neighbor. Protection against intruders, assaults and thefts by conventional means was obviously not an option.

Of course I don't keep up on current events very much but Jacob is a TACP which is the next step up from which means he is part of the JTAC community. He was a JTAC then got his TACP certification so he is a JTAC.
Still praying, Legs!

Here it is again WITH the chocolate added in. BTW I thought I would also like to post about Xylitol which is an "artificial sweetener found in products such as gum and candy. Within 30 minutes after eating, the dog may vomit, be lethargic, and/or be uncoordinated. However, some signs of toxicity can also be delayed for hours or even for a few days. Xylitol toxicity in dogs can be fatal if untreated. It is unknown whether xylitol is toxic to cats."

At my clinic we had 2-3 dogs through the years that had eaten Trident Gum that contains Xylitol. Luckily all the owners caught it fast and the dogs were saved.

No problem, I already knew about the chocolate except for the additional info you already posted. Better to learn about the additional dangers I wasn't aware of.

when traveling in the motorhome also nice to have with you.

Just take note crossing state boundaries. All states have different laws. What's legal in one ain't so in another.

Yikes, just the mental image scares the bejesus out of me.

I also have a little handgun, locked and loaded. One time long ago when my home was broken into while i was at work on the night shift and I called the police when I got home and saw so much stuff stolen, during the conversation with one of them that came to my home he told me to get a gun and if i had to shoot just outside my door, to drag him at least inside before i called, the police ,then it'd be self-defense:D
