This arrived yesterday:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O2M7N48/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I think...hope...I did good. I'll have to use it inside as there's no antennae outside...besides, according to the website it'll work fine inside. But I didn't realize it was so big and heavy!!! They have a no. to call for help, which I did last night, to ask just where i can place it cuz I don't dare hang it on these flimsy walls.

Anyway, we talked for about 20 mins. and he's sending me, within three days, a 20 ft. cable ( the length being determined after I measured the distance from the tv outlet to the dining room counter where it'll sit)

I CUT THE CABLE!!!!:D

Now I'm feeling so brave n frisky I might even start using my cellphone on a regular basis and then eliminate the landline! ( Tho I think that'll be a long time from now..)
I've been mobile only for about 15 years or so. There is nothing coming over a landline that I can't get via mobile & email. Cutting the phone saved me about 75 a month.

Hi Guys (and Gals),
Sandy just left me a message (sorry I couldn't get outta bed fast enough to get to the phone). I'm ok. Not great but, ok. I have uncontrolled atrial fibrillation (afib) and tire very eaaily so I have been napping a lot. The gave me Xaralto to keep me from clotting and are running a bunch of test. I had the Holter thingy that you wear for 24 hours the day before yesterday and am scheduled for some more tests next week. The cardiologist is concerned about the circulation in my feet and says there is a bit of gurgling in the arteries in the right side of my neck. He has an excellent reputation and seems like a great guy. First thing he told me was not to worry, we can fix this.
Just been keeping quiet and relaxing. Not doing much of anything which sux because I have bunches of stuff that needs doing. I apologise for not keeping you all better informed and I promise to do better.
I'm way behind here too so if I miss some messages from anyone please, don't take it personally. :)
The only repairs you need to worry about are to yourself! Hang in there, Mattman! Praying for you!

Alrighty! Infusion went fast today! After 6 sticks they found a vein on the side we aren't supposed to use & 2 hours later it was done! They are using pumps now instead of gravity feed. Fine by me, that 5 hours thingy was rough. Hoping I can sleep tonight, i came home, ate lunch, & slept for 4 hours. Plus I slept through the infusion!

Matt, enjoy your well-earned rest. Did the doctor say if your last six months of frenzied activity has anything to do with it?

All that other stuff can wait. Keep in touch. Playing on the computer is neither strenuous nor stressful, so long as you stay away from the news.

So glad your doctor is working with you, and that you are not in the hospital recovering from a second chest-cracked-open surgery.

Hope everyone is having a great evening! I'm still high on my 6 month anniversary for vaping ! And getting to meet all sorts of great people in the process!
The year marks are what get me. After 44 years of smoking & never dreaming quitting could be this easy those year marks are awesome!

I did the opposite, sort of. Well, I've never been a slave to the cell phone, actually I'm closer to a cell refusnik. But, I replaced my Telco landline with a VoIP device (Ooma). All I pay on it is the taxes, which come to about $4/month.

You have to have broadband for it to work. But you can take it on the road if you like, it'll work anywhere you have broadband access. It's not mobile, but mobile is not something I desire, nor need. Given broadband access, it is just like a landline, minus the big monthly bills. Fills my needs.

One big CON on the Ooma Telo, or any other VoIP device I'm aware of, is that it is incompatible with medical alert systems. I found this out the hard way after I bought one for my mother and ended up having to return it and re-establish her Telco service.

Congratulations of the HDTV antenna. It has a lot of glowing reviews.
