Since I'm workin' at home today, think I'll fix supper and have it ready when my wife and son get home.

I'm thinking about fixin' country fried ham, cheese grits, and... the coup de gras:

Homemade biscuits and moleasses... problem is, some of 'em are real big and hang too far over the edge of the biscuit! :w00t:

Lol! That's what I did just a few days ago when I finished doing a little snow shoveling. In a little while i'm gonna take CoCo ( my GD's pup) outside and just lounge in the sun!

What's a boudin ?
It's a cajun thing like a big sausage only the filling is rice & spices with chopped up pork, crawfish, shrimp, chicken. Great grilled. Good stuff! Pronounced BU-dan here.

Lol @Iffy most grandmother's are. My mum was a career lady. Ok she could cook but nowhere near as good as Gran. I live on an Island called Tasmania which is at the bottom of the continent of Australia. When its not overcast (this year most of the time) our southern skys are magnificent. We also can see the Southern lights Aurora Borialus I think its called. I did have an astronomical telescope once but one of the kids wrecked it and I never bothered to replace it.

We just watched a show on some people who spent 18 months putting together a 24 course Victorian meal made to Fannie Farmers recipes all done on huge wood stoves like they used to use. It was pretty amazing. They had to do some changes because not all the ingredients are still available. Thing like Mock Turtle Soup. There were so many things. The soup they had to use calf brains in meatballs because the turtles are an endangered species. Plus the recipes were kind of (can't think of the word) but not precise because the women in those days just knew how to do it. Homemade Puff Pastry with 600 layers. I wondered what the people paid to eat the meal. It was all food from the late 19th century. It took 3 chefs 18 months to recreate the recipes. Trial and error.

Yeah sorry I haven't been here a lot. Doctors, another iron infusion. Now we both have to go to a pain management specialist which as my old doc said was a doc who took an extra class in college. The state came up with a calcullator to plug your meds into that gives them a morphine equivalent. And it is not supposed to be above a certain number. I just love it some bean counter that doesn't know his .... from a hole in the ground about me. Things like oral meds don't absorb like normal people, they had me on 3 iron tablets a day to keep my HGB to above 10, going to tell me how much I can take to keep my quality of life. Guess I better get some new batteries for my power chair. Taking that amount of iron would have probably been an overdose for normal people.

Also been over on the SkyStream FB page. Got Zen installed, tried a couple music addons but the quality doesn't even come close to Pandora or Spotify. So got rid of them cleared my cache kept Zen always good to have another good video addon, uses Lambdos code so it is very much like Exodus and Specto. Never know when one might go down so always good to have a back up plan.

Ha an old friend called me out of the blue night before last. We've talked occasionally on FB but he is like me and doesn't go there much. We talked until my cordless phone went TU battery is bad but it got me off my .... to order a new one that is supposed to be excellent for people with hearing problems and doesn't break the bank. This one we have is about 15 years old and new batteries for the 2 would have been $40 the new phone was $69 from Amazon supposed to be here tomorrow if I don't have any Gary problems Its the Panasonic 6592 really highly rated cause you can control bass midrange and treble to get the best sound for your hearing. There is one that is rated higher with extra extra amplification but its close to $200. Don't need that.

Sure did like dose telescopic 20s!

Me too... couple of 'refinements'* and I'd still like 'em.

*flush 510 connector & ability to carry about 3-4x the current we used to ask of the dinky little 'spring switch' - back when I used Protank IIs w/ 1.7Ω 30ga coils @ 7-8 watts
