I love the beautiful rugged, rocky Oregon coast......You're making this westerner homesick....Here's a video ... though I doubt anyone will watch the full thang.

Try the two inch thick new york strips. Outstanding. $6.99 a pound. Come in 4 packs.I smell bar b que Mediterranean chicken on a stick. Oh boy Oh boy. Those are pretty good. Sell them at Costco. We tried their beef stroganoff in a refrigerated pack, 2 pack. Each one is just enough for 2. Not like homemade but for something quick and pretty good with good beef in it not bad. Man they had some prime ribeyes there ONLY $23 a pound. You gotta buy 3 so it's like 50 bucks. Thought about it for my birthday but said NAH maybe next year.
But of course! Bacon makes everything better!you know what might be good is a ham salad sany with bacon![]()
Exxcept da pig!!!But of course! Bacon makes everything better!
It was nearly as nasty up here in the Panhandle, but we only got to the low 70s. Oh, how I'm dreading summer.
The last time I was in Oregon I got a light sunburn that I wouldn't have suffered here in Florida, because the heat would've driven me indoors before I was overexposed. It was August, back home the temperatures were in the mid 90s. Meanwhile, on the coast of Oregon it was in the mid 60s. I was in heaven! Hope I get to return some day.

Below is Toketee Falls, Oregon. It's nearly 100 miles inland, east of Coos Bay. But it's still cool, in both senses of the word. West Oregon is a place where it's difficult to take a bad picture. And a day hot enough to make you sweat is as rare as a hard freeze where I live now.

If it weren't for A/C, the population of Florida would rapidly shrink, probably to 25% of what it is now.
I hope someone enjoys the photos.

We know just what you mean. Seems like our life consists of at home time and doctor appointment time and time to go to town and get refills with shopping for groceries once a month except for little things. I set my calendar to remind me, right now I have a VA PCP, civilian PCP, cardiologist, pulminlogist, hemotologist, gastroenterologist and of course prosthetist . Ginny has PCP, rhemotologist, hemotologist and gastroenterologist.I have one more OT appt for my hand. Continuing my PT exercises independently. Then I see the ortho this month for my hand, right ankle, and neck. Right ankle is an old injury, the others are arthritis. They changed osteorarthritis to arthritis NOS. Seems like my whole body aches at times, but part of it may be the cold I am now getting over. Then I see the ENT Dr for my ears and sinuses. Then I see the gut doctor. Three appts in the big city this month, all on separate days. In case you didn't know it, I have not been a happy camper lately. Taking all those NSAIDS was covering up a lot of problems, but life can get downright unpleasant without.
Haven't attended a quilting meeting for more than a month. And have done nothing, either, other than making some dresser scarves for myself. Just starting to crochet grocery bags again. Size I hook with heavy thread, so doesn't require much more than range of motion.
I am glad I changed doctors, but catching up on all my concerns is an ache.

Ya know they had some type of a small circular steak that was marbled to the max, looked like they might be melt in your mouth they were also prime but $19.99 a pound. They almost looked like some of the Kobe beef I've seen on TV.Try the two inch thick new york strips. Outstanding. $6.99 a pound. Come in 4 packs.
Me, too.I get an error message with that.
Yeah, I complained about my limitations to a friend this afternoon. He gave me no pity (for the same reason), just some bright comments about the "Golden Years".I'll see your ENT and raise you a cardiologist.![]()
Yes, they are keeping me busy. I think I will wear my ankle brace during all waking hours, just to spite the PT people. Went out to the VA for some walking time. Even with the ankle brace, I was walking on the outside of my foot almost immediately. We know just what you mean. Thank you! I wish it was Full HD. This was 2007, and bought the best camcorder I could afford. Now you can get full hd for half what I paid for 720x480 back then. Best thing about that camcorder is it is HDD based and can store many hours before offloading. It still works perfectly a decade later. My name is "someone"! I could spend the whole summer camping there!
Edit: I just put the video in fullscreen.....completely awesome!!!1
OK don't keep it a secret.i think i have created the perfect strawberry n cream and peaches n cream recipes
