Yeah my eyes have always been better then average. When I was younger they were 20/15 and even now they aren't as bad as many my age. I think rolling everyone over a certain age into +2.5 is kind goofy plus he changed them from having astigmatism in one eye to both and I think that is what makes everything look stretched from top to bottom. Makes tv look like everyone has really long heads. It's weird.
You got that right this kid looked like he was right out of school. The VA seems to get a lot of those either that or ready to retire. They have a heck of a time getting new docs. I should go back to the one that gave me my glasses in the first place. He's a little pricey but every pair I've gotten from him were right on.

You know I got to thinking about trying the 100% VG and thought hey I've been mixing my flavors up strong then diluting them in the tank and I just happen to have a bottle of straight VG sittin here so I did my usual and fill the tank 1/3 with my steeped flavor and nic and the rest of the way with straight VG so I was ready to fill my K5 and did it with straight VG which probably makes it around 90/10 since the other is 50/50. We both like it and the K5 opend up all the way keeps up just fine. I couldn't believe Ginny even liked it. Now if I could get her off the Nautilus and on a K5 I would be all set. The VG really mellows out the flavor. I was alway leary about using it that way but I kinda like it without much PG.
Yep I couldn't beat the price from the VA 0 but I think I'm going to try to get them to make them just like the ones I have. If I'm not mistooken they can figure that out with their little machine they use. There is nothing wrong with the ones I have but they are not transitions which I really like and they are about 7 years old. I can see good at distance or close up. I'll see what they say.I no da feelin', Pat. Spent $500 on glasses. Of course, if I wanna see I use the old ones.

Headed back home to California. Burbank to be exact. Childhood home. Leaving Dallas Georgia. Been here in Georgia 20+ years but has never really felt like home.
They don't go north anymore, they are here year around. They sublet the Osprey nest in the Spring till the Osprey come back and evict them. Usually they are done with it by then. The babies have about a 25' first step rough incoming to the world.
Right? Some say the home is where you make it and I agree contentment can be found in many places but for me home is where the heart is; that's why I am in Arkansas, so many great childhood memories here. Doesn't hurt that it's absolutely gorgeous here either.
Burbank? Yikes. I used to love going to LA when I was a kid in the 50's it was really cool back then. My Aunt and Uncle lived there we'd go for Christmas. Man houses are expensive there now.
