I'm so glad that everytime something comes up that there is something that can help. Even if the whole problem isn't eliminated, at least the technology & skills are there to help. And the news about the Gamma Knifeis good! (That doesn't sound right at all....) I'm so sorry about the "chemo brain". That has got to be frightening for her, & you as well. I like that & just looking. I worked in stores at malls for many years. Always something new to see. Like the zoo.

Dunno if there's any flavor on da planet thatz not cut with water or something to some extent. Pure flav would prolly be brutal. Like .5 per gallon.

Thats the way this Russian stuff is. Probly if you mixed it 5% with 95% water you could use 20%. I made a batch with 1%Creme Brulee and .75% Cream and its almost to strong for me right now and it hasn't even steeped straight VG. Will pick up some distilled water tomorrow. Think I'll add maybe .5ml of DW. Could probably add more.

I've been keeping up on the porch and wanting to post something but not a darn thing exciting is happening. Rained all day and I didn't get to walk and tomorrow, it is time to donate blood again. I swear three months goes by in no time at all. Seems like I guess gave. Oh well, I love their snacks.

Hope they have free t-shirts. I love "free" too.

They have done a really good job of always giving us options to continue treatment in some way/shape/form. Definitely everyone that you mentioned (adding yourself, of course) are always in my thoughts and prayers. And don't forget @LittleBird! She's been AWOL for a while now, but I'm trying to stay in touch with her via other methods.

If only they weren't so darned expensive! I'd love to have one, but it isn't something that I'd wanna drive every day, and I can't justify that price tag for a "toy"...

I want to take a moment to thank all those here again for your thoughts and prayers. It's a good thing and a faith builder to be propped up by my friends here and I can't express with words just how much.
This I truly believe and can express with paraphrased words; God will grant every prayer that falls in line with His will. As for prayers for healing, which we know is within His will, He we grant as promised but with His timing, not ours. We will all be healed, either immediately, at some point in our lives or at the resurrection. That's an awesome thing and gives me joy and peace to know that Julie and I will someday stand together side by side with our glorious and perfect bodies.

Absolutely!!! There is so much truth in that entire post!

I had a good friend that had that done. If it works its a great thing. You get to go home the same day then wait to see how it gets absorbed.

Yep. They say it's a three day procedure, but that isn't truly accurate. Day one is just nurse visits and some blood work. Day two the attach the halo-rack thing, do a super-high-resolution brain MRI, and do the treatment. Day three... they just want you to stay in town in case you have complications. We live in town, so that's a non-issue.

This would be more my taste ..

The National Day Calendar gets fairly crowded on some Days .. today, All Hail :: National Cheddar Fries Day, National Lima Bean Respect Day, National Look Alike Day, National Pineapple Upside Down Cake Day, National High Five Day .. what's a guy to do .. ??

So, let me offer up a High Five to all that Respect the Lima Bean (I am not one of that cadre ..), while we partake of an extra large helping of Cheddar Fries, wondering why someone said "You look like this Dude I saw last week that won that Big Bingo Pot at the VFW .." .. as we wait for 6 PM, the Traditional Time to Eat Pineapple Upside Down Cake ..

I'll take mine just a little crispy around the edges, please ..

Wednesday in Ireland and the Cliffs of Moher

Dear Patrick and Ginny ::

I would like to take a moment to say, the unfolding of the Ireland trip, with your young, very much in Love couple, is a welcome respite in a World of what sometimes seems chaotic at best ..

These images of this ancient and folklore flavored Country, sometimes shrouded in the fog of mystery, bring a degree of Wanderlust into my Heart, especially knowing that this will be a lifelong memory for these two fine young people .. I think ahead to the years to come when they will sit together at home and talk about this trip, and it takes me back to a time when I was also very much in love .. it's one of those old memories that is both happy and sad at the same time ..

So, I would just like to say Thank You for sharing their Journey .. may it be one of many ..
