I had a friend with a Ford Exploder it was junk also.
And no trade in value. Mine's a 2008 and it's worth next to zilch. But I'm not driving lately - wasn't doing it enough to be worth the cost of insurance and registration. We've got a seniors agency the next county over that also serves ours, (since with a total population <2000 we do just end up as tag-alongs on a lot of things) but I can get a custom (not the twice a week shopping run) round trip ride to Fargo, 70 miles away, for $6. Since I already do most of my shopping online and am too introverted to need to go visiting anywhere, it usually works fine. The only problem is that they don't take pets, and that's been a problem twice for urgent vet runs. I suggested to the social worker that this might be a great volunteer service.

They've had 2 really bad calls that cost us 2 TD that even the announcers couldn't believe including the guy who always rules for the referees in wherever he is.

And that was the game - two bad calls, (one TERRIBLY wrong ejection), 2 TDs taken away, in an 11 point game...

Good to see you. Been a long time. Can you call the vet and ask if he can build a list of volunteers?

A memory not exactly from out of the blue, but unearthed by a Nutella commercial. There was this stuff that came in a round waxed cardboard container. These days, the container would be made of plastic. It was found in the refrigerated shelves at the grocery, near the butter, eggs and cottage cheese. It's possible that it was a combination of whipped honey and butter or margarine. The colder it was, the harder it was to spread, similar in that way to peanut butter. Made perhaps by Sealtest or Breakstone or Borden.

I don't remember the name of the stuff. Ring any bells?

I don't remember a brand name, but then....I was West coast so may not have been the same anyway. It was simply honey/butter. I haven't seen it in stores for years, just honey and butter whipped together. I make my own but you have to have good honey, not the watered down stuff in most markets...;)

Honey Butter. It's just butter with honey in it. Easy diy, but all the stores have it here. Biscuits with honey butter. Yum!

I've got nothing against the watered down stuff. Remind me not to apply to be your personal chef... oh, wait, never mind, there's no chance of me applying for a job. :thumb: Just kiddin' with ya, but you are more of a gourmet and I am more of a gourmand.

Speaking of culinary pursuits, my adventures continue.
Turmeric and hot paprika remain staples in the starting lineup. Minced garlic has forced me to put garlic powder on the bench.
Rookies powdered rosemary and powdered cloves have earned signing bonuses. 15th round draft pick powdered marshmallow root may earn a chance if I can figure out how to best use it.
Budweiser remains competitive with any and all other entrants in the brew league.
Trappey's Red Devil cayenne hot sauce and Frank's cayenne hot sauce are hard to tell apart.
Texas Pepper Works Kandy Krisp candied jalapenos are better than Trappey's candied jalapenos.

There is also this; Creamed Honey: Why to Love it and and How to Make It! It is more shelf-stable, as it is already crystallized. Honey will naturally crystallize into big crystals, which do not feel right in the mouth-- almost like eating sand.

I guess that takes it off 2Legs list, then. :)
@2legsshrt likes centerfolds. Remember when he told us how he varnished one into the deck of a boat?

Reading that link made me think that the particular stuff we used to get might have been called churned honey.
