When a Provari does that I have to clean all the threading on the PV and on the tank. After cleaning, I put a very small bit of lubricant on the cleaned PV threads and wipe them down. Fixes everything..........

Edited to remove incorrect quote

This is the correct quote:
Does a mod ever show that a battery has no juice even though it is charged?

@bigbells I've got a couple cars for you to check out with CR if you want.
1. 2013 Subaru Outback Limited, 40K miles local one owner all the standard options on a Limited $20,800
2. 2014 Subaru Outback Limited, 51K miles local one owner same on the options same price
both traded in on new Subaru's at Dealership.
Both have the 2.5 PZEZ I think is what it is called engine.
Sort of sounds like EZ PZ

As in they don't light up at all? If so, maybe a polarity issue? Now that most mods have reverse polarity protection, and it's not as critical to install them the right direction.... I've found myself putting an 18650 in backwards now and then, and, well, the mod doesn't work...

If they show low when firing, do you have the power set too high?

If they power up but show low charge before even trying to fire, yeah, maybe both chose today to bite the bullet...
They do light up (and believe me I havedone my share of putting them in backwards) but yes, light up show the Ohms and show a pic of an empty battery and will not fire. I know it is the strangest that both the Wismec and the Kanger did it at the same time. I was going crazy the last day or two thinking the brass lamp or the ceiling fan or SOMEthing was draining them as soon as I would charge them. Even though this is a more plausible answer (broken mod) I will accept that. I am happily puffing away on a KOOPER and an VTC from the stash drawer and batteries are doing fine :headbang:

I rounded up to the next thousand miles just in case you weren't looking at the next 3 digits.
For the 2013, with 41K miles, the average dealer price is $21,650 in clean condition, $20,300 in average condition. Add $450 for power sunroof, $400 for navigation system.
For the 2014, with 52K miles, the average dealer price is $22,075 in clean condition, $21,875 in average condition. Add $500 each if vehicle has power sunroof or navigation system.

So, if the vehicles are identical, the 2014 is a better deal despite the higher mileage. If the vehicles are in average condition rather than clean condition, the 2014 is still a good deal but the 2013 is overpriced.

Thanks Dave they are both in excellent condition. Look like brand new. The 2014 has been service at the Subaru dealership the 2013 has been serviced else where but both were bought in Spokane, well the 2014 is a personal lease vehicle from Spokane and always registered here also. Neither look like they were used hard. One has an engine block heater installed at the dealership both carfax's are completely clean. I kind of was hoping for the 2015 because I think you said they made some changes that year. Whether they are good changes IDK. Neither have been rentals or bought at auction, like I say both are trades. I do know that taken care of they are easily good for 200K miles. The 2014 also looks like it has new tires. Neither are certified, they only seem to do that on 2017's and a couple 2016s but they want practically new prices for those. The same car new is $32K. I believe they both have nav and the 2014 has moonroof. So they definately sound like worth a test drive. Thanks a bunch Dave that helps a lot. I know the 2013 gets a bonus for mileage, approx 8300 per year. Like I say not used hard by the looks.

Also with the avg mileage we drive the 2014 in a couple of years would be lower mileage per year. We have 80K on an 06 so we avg about 7K per year. The 2014 had something fixed on it that I will look up and see what that was again, also neither has hitch receivers so weren't use for anything but personal use. That limited is really well loaded with almost all options included with the model type. Crazy wish I'd have gotten one in the first place. Mine sounds like a hay bailer at 80K. Will contact that dealership today and set up a test drive for Monday. I love the fact that they are all leather with heated seats and outside mirrors. Wood grain finishes inside. We would have no problem getting ok'd for a new one but they want $33K for one of those and just can't see spending that much money, but the cars and models themselves are just what we want. You are a wealth of info, really helps.

Also I rechecked and the asking price is $21,977 on both which I'm sure at that price I could maybe get $2500 for my fix or repair daily Fusion. That would cover the tax and license but we would have the style we want. Also like I said the 14 has been serviced at the dealership that has it since day 1 and only thing it has had done is the engine block heater installed.

I was looking at what my car would be worth on a trade and if you consider fair condition, I'm sure they will notice the slight oil leak and it has a small dent and a hubcap missing thanks to the cutrate tire place we went to to get the snow tires off it shows $1350 which for that we might just keep it and have a knock around car easy for me to drive to appts. Still has miles left in it. We'll see what they offer us. Going to test drive it Monday. Twilight Blue with Black Leather Interior. Really nice looking car. Thats the Subaru.

Busy day today! Friends on their way to set up & hang my new tv! Whoop!

Ugh! No new tv today. [emoji20] Got the wall mount up, & went to mount the tv & the screen was broken & cracked. Had a big starburst dent at the top right, & a crack that ran to the bottom of the screen. [emoji47] I called Best Buy & my friends are taking it over there & swapping it out for me. Then they'll bring it here & mount it for me. So one more day in the 20th century.

You'll be so happy @Kenna. We have been watching I believe it is a 32" in the motorhome and when we got home this 60" looks huge again. Plus it is so clear.

Also Dave I was thinking, that is their asking price and if you go in and like it and make them an offer with pre approved credit and no trade I think they would take less, how much I have no idea but I used to lowball them and they would come up with an alternative price and then find a happy medium. I know they price the vehicles considering there will be a trade and can then offer you more for your trade but with pre approved financing which I already have through our CU at 3.49% it is the same as paying cash.

What did they do? Raise the price after you expressed interest? If you drive a Fix Or Repair Daily too long, it becomes a Found On the Road Dead. Average retail sales price for a 2006 Fusion is $3950 to $4725. By the way there's a recall that you can get done for free on that Ford, to replace the passenger side air bag inflator. The reason for the recall is that the inflator can rupture upon activation, shooting shrapnel into the passenger compartment.

No I just recalled it wrong. I was thinking it was 20997 and it was 21997. Will be able to look at the 2013 at the same time but like I say the 2014 has had all the scheduled maintenance done at the dealership they leased it from in the first place and where they traded or returned it which is who has it. I would consider offering them like 19000 with no trade if its in really good shape then go from there. The old ford will keep running till it doesn't.

Yeah that price on the ford, I know they are going to see that the rear main is leaking that is over a 2k job to fix. The damned sales tax in this state is 9.5% maybe even 9.8. So thats going to add 2k on the price license is around 100 with transfer I think. heres the car if you want to look at it and see what you think.

Plus the ford has had heavy smoking in it over the years. I'm sure they would just auction it off.

I think you should click on the "Get Eprice" button so that they'll offer you a lower price from the get-go.
