Meet Me in St Louie Louie
A second grade teacher was having trouble with one of her students. One day, she asked Jimmy what his problem was. He replied, “I’m too smart for the second grade, my sister is in the fourth grade, and I’m smarter than her too.

You know the 21st Century equivalency of an old excuse is now "The dog ate my laptop .." .. ;)

PSA: Matt asked me to let y'all know he misses ya! He's "laying low" and just 'bout free of da oxy.

No known heart issues thus far, although he's awaiting a few test results from his previous doctor before a conclusive BoH.

Miss ya, Matt! C'mon back here when you're up to it...

This looks like a movie that we "older" folks should get a good laugh out of...;)

Kinda reminds me of an old George Burns movie I saw when I was a kid, now what the heck was the name of that movie?
    Oh, yeah, "Going in Style";)

Movies are easier to discuss than books. With books our experiences vary so much more. We each imagine things so much differently. Besides, that way we can also critique the actors, music, and visual effects. Our relationship with a book is more individual and personal.
I'm in complete agreement with you. I've always said I love to read because a film is limited in what they are able to portray whereas our imaginations have no such limits...;)

I know what you mean. When I'm fairly relaxed, I post a lot. When I'm tense, worried, stressed, I don't. No words flow out. Verbally constipated?

I'm just the opposite. When I'm stressed the words just flow. It's like the stress has to come spilling out.

Thanks so much for the update. I was beginning to worry!

Whaddawedo with a drunken sailor? I look more like I've got ants in my pants than like I'm dancing. I was trying too hard.

Bells, that was one of the best yet!!

U got that rite, yiddz! The worst (sci fi) movie ever made was based on a book that was mind blowing!!!
(battlefield earth) Couldn't put that one down. 800 pages in two dayz.

    I'm thinking Dune.

Totally agree! I have read that book at least 5 times. I finally bought it on Kindle because the paperback I have was falling apart. I was really looking forward to the movie. OMG! It was a total disgrace to even compare it to the book.
