Re drip tips, the ones baby bear uses are too small (smaller than a cigarette), the ones papa bear uses are too large, and the ones that mama bear uses are just right.

I found a dance partner whose style I relate to. Enjoy.

Nice one ... err ... actually nice two!

From the "Help a Brother Out" Department

Why do so many of the tanks I'm looking at today have seemingly large inhalation tips .. ?? Are drip tip styles going by the wayside .. ?? Why do they need these large tips .. ??

What? You've never used a "...."? :D

edit: Well dang the censored word rhymes w/ 'dong'.

So, you're saying you hit the PV like it's a Classic device for Inhalation of Medicinal Material .. ?? Do you also cough up a lung when the hits too big .. ?? ;)

This reminds me, RIP Chuck Barris .. I always liked the "Gong Show" .. Unknown Comic and Gene Gene the Dancing Machine ..

Hux is doing spectacularly well. He's got a big open incision in his belly that evidently he doesn't know about. He kicks and moves and rolls around just like normal. Do babies not have nerves down there? You'd think at least his muscles would hurt. Nada. He's so squirmy it's easier to have 2 people change his diaper because they have to put absorbable padding in that spot and then put the regular diaper over it. And the surprise of the day yesterday was his 1st tooth coming in!!

Yay for little bro! Pictures! We need pictures!
Thanks for the update on Hux. It is so sad to hear of a baby having to go through anything like he has. However, the little ones have a way of bouncing back that amazes me.

Hi kenna!

I've been kinda poorly for a while, but finally went to the Dr. today, got a couple of "scripts", and some "script" nose spray stuff ( yeah, that's the brand name on the bottle) so I'll be right as rain ( WHOEVER came up with that saying?!) pretty soon.
Glad to hear you went to the Dr and got your meds to return you to normal, whatever that is.

@Uncle Willie ... I'm camera shopping. You posted once about your camera's ... what is it you use again? I'm not looking to replace my Canon DSLR and all the lenses I have for it. Just want something convenient to take along that takes good pictures.

Last year I got a Nikon Coolpix L840. It's a point and shoot mid-range zoom. It's a PoS as far as I'm concerned. Over have the pictures I take I have to throw away because of blurred images. Just the slightest movement in the subject and it's a wasted picture. Does OK for still photography but that's about it. It focuses slow, overexposes all pictures, the flash really over exposes when used, and seems to always pick a shutter speed too slow for hand held shots.

I wouldn't even give this camera away to anyone as I'm so disappointed w/ it. But, Amazon will buy it back for $100 (way less than I paid but it's something) so I'm in the market.

These G9 X and G7X Mark II by Canon have caught my eye. I'm more attuned to the pricing of the G9 but I like the adjustable viewing window of the G7 (just don't know if that's worth the big price jump).

Any suggestions?

Mike .. I still use a Canon Powershot S120 .. which I still believe is one of the best pocket cameras ever made .. the G9 X is the replacement for the S120 and I have one in my Amazon cart and have been eying it for an upgrade .. like you, I would like an articulating screen, although I have not really missed it with my S120 .. I also have a G7X Mark II in my cart .. I've been hoping for a price drop on that with no luck .. I just have not been able to decide if the extra money is worth the slight additional features .. I do really like that the G9X also comes in a retro steel and leather look as well as black .. I like that retro look ..

Canon G9X vs Canon G7X Mark II

If you really want to drop the coin, the Sony RX100 Mark V is, the finest current pocket / travel camera made today, IMO .. and will last for many years and it's hard to beat that Zeiss glass .. although, it essentially has the same sensor as the Canons ..

I'd lean toward the G7X Mark II .. another option, although an older model yet still available new is the Sony DSCRX100M2/B

Also :: anything with a f 2.0 or lower lens is going to shoot in some pretty dim light and still do a good job without a flash .. I have not used a flash in some time ..

The PIC I posted some time ago of my Niece in Law (long story, I'm also my own Grandpa ;)) was taken with the Canon S120 .. I believe the high end Canon units are very much suited to people and street photos .. you can expect even better results with the newer models ::

Also the Canon :: in B&W mode .. (yes, it's me)

Yepper! The steel and leather. That's good looking, it surely caught my eye. And with a leather case, it'd be the cats meow! Geez, I'm getting old, getting excited about camera's in leather look not women in leather.

Oh wait, maybe Janet will dress up in leather and I can take her picture w/ my leather incased camera. (yeah, I'm dreaming).

Though, I'm leaning to the extra$ for the articulated screen vs: the fetish leather look of the G9. I've splurged on PV's ... I guess I can splurge on the $ for the upgraded screen.

Impressive pictures from a point&shoot camera to say nothing of the 'eye' of the photographer for the composition. Well done!
