Yepper! The steel and leather. That's good looking, it surely caught my eye. And with a leather case, it'd be the cats meow! Geez, I'm getting old, getting excited about camera's in leather look not women in leather.

Oh wait, maybe Janet will dress up in leather and I can take her picture w/ my leather incased camera. (yeah, I'm dreaming).

Though, I'm leaning to the extra$ for the articulated screen vs: the fetish leather look of the G9. I've splurged on PV's ... I guess I can splurge on the $ for the upgraded screen.

The good news is, you can't go wrong with either one .. and, as a bonus, they will hold their value fairly well ..

PS .. leather & steel or not, I'd appreciate the Janet / Bettie Page PIC (on PM, of course) .. and, I promise to keep it on the down low ..

It's about a coin toss difference ... I like the price and looks of the G9 but the longer lens and tilt screen of the G7. Well, I've got a few days yet in Colorado before heading back home. I'll just let the decision simmer on the back burner 'till then.

Well, I started the weekly ritual today. Did the first mowing & edging of the season. I only did the area outside the fence and the front yard. I have a corner lot so there is a lot of sidewalk and curb to edge. It wore me out! It was nice doing the upkeep and the wind was really helpful, lol. News just said the winds were out of the south at 29 with gust to 44. I will probably tackle the inside yard tomorrow. There are still a few limbs and sticks to rake up before I mulch the grass. Also, picking them up first means I won't have to sharpen the blade as often. I am actually a bit slow in getting started this season. I was really happy, the house across from mine was empty all last year. New owners moved in and have done a really nice job of cleaning up the outside of the house. He has already mowed his lawn twice in the last couple weeks. Nancy used to laugh at the way the neighborhood did the yards. It only took one person to mow their yard and then there would be a progression of most of the neighbors following with their yards.

My yard looks like sheet. I took the advice of a friend who said it'll be ok not to turn the sprinklers on one summer, WRONG. I need to get someone to rake it out and spread some grass seed on it. People around here don't seem to realize this is a low income area compared to lots of places, they all want you to pay them $25-30 an hour to do something and can't really afford to put out $2500 for sod then someone to put it down and thats just the front yard. It sucks not being able to do stuff yourself any more. Sometimes it would be nice to have a little yard instead of a half acre. Thats the yard the lot is an acre.

Ah chips! And dip! Onion dip! I could eat an entire bag all by myself and look for more. And the ruffle chips don't break as easily - very efficient. Now I'm hungry for some and there aren't any here. Maybe gotta do something about that tomorrow.
