You read my mind, @garyoa1. To be safe, I recommend that you use some mental floss and brain wash immediately.

In addition, I think most of us would be amazed at how many ECF members there are who have never visited the ECF site after the day that they signed up. This holds true for any and all Internet groups.

Mental flosss!!!!! oh oh oh...I need some a that!!!!

@MikeE3 you better get some MTL kits from originvape.com for your K5's.

And some parts kits too.

Is the best central source of pending and proposed legislation CASA .. ?? If so, is the information generally pro-active, IOW, advanced warnings on Legislation being proposed .. ??

Paulie .. that's pretty much what I figured .. you find out about it once it's too late or almost too late .. thus, prepare for the worst and hope for the best .. :(

I've never had much of a problem with Garyish ..

If you're not signed up w/ CASA you should. The do a pretty decent job of sending out pro-active emails concerning issues.

on the PA law. One of the legislators we contacted told us 'it' would get out of committee and make the final bill. I need to check which way he voted.

Janet and I are pretty well set. We'd been stocking up for the deeming. But we didn't expect PA to come down so harsh. To add insult to injury the PA vapors/vendors associations proposed a more reasonable tax that would have brought in even more tax revenue but it wouldn't be considered by the law makers. This sure makes me think PA law makers wanted to wipe out vaping more than getting money from it.

Here's what I finished half an hour ago. It was my 3rd one of the day. Normally I'd have used 2 or 3 slices of tomato but I'm rationing it until I get to the grocery... hopefully today but ya never know. There is a bun bottom under the burger. Got to get bigger buns!

Bells. That is not a Big Mac. What did you do with the 1/2 a burger I gave you? Oh wait! It was your appetizer?

How does the vape tax compare to the regular cigarette tax in PA .. ??

Yep, I bought Full Metal Jacket on DVD... I probably watch that movie at least once a month. Still one of my all time favorites. :)
Well... that one and Scarface. :D
Lol! Love Scarface!

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
if i lived in PA,,i would avoid spending money as much as possible.......(easier for me,,i am a minimalist) but i am serious,, i spend a lot of money eating out so i would cut it back,, basically refusing to give the state any tax dollars........money saved would go towards relocating to a more tax friendly area.

its not just PA,, our govt has grown too big, the congress/senate/all politicians make far more $$$$ than the people they 'represent' and that is wrong. -they should never make more than 10% of the avg income. (and i feel even that is too generous)

That's the way it was in this state. It was signed into law before I ever heard of the licensing thing.

Don't get me started .. it could get ugly (I speak from past experience) .. sadly, escaping the Tax and Spend philosophy would likely center on Delaware, maybe I'll look into it .. :)

I have been remiss in Welcoming you to the Thread .. the regular Welcome Wagon Crew will do their best, based on current funding, to deliver a basket of goodies at some point, hopefully, in the near future .. ;) ..

Many visit, some stay .. the Collective welcomes a Fresh Face and a New Perspective .. always has, hopefully always will .. :)

This new chemo is an ongoing thing. She has to take the pills every day for 21 days, then 7 days off. :( Pretty easy as far as "getting" the chemo, but the side effects of this one are pretty rough. The worst of them right now causes her hands and feet to be very tender and sore. Poor thing can't hardly walk, and even opening jars or bottles is painful. Before I leave for work, I make sure that she has things to eat and drink with a minimum of manual manipulation, and try to leave a few things that are easily accessible for her. :)
So sorry, I forgot about that. to you both

Except that I prefer lemonade to limeade. ;)
I do love a good homemade lemonade.......but cherry limeade is my fav!!

Ketchup, mustard, miracle whip = Mc'd's speshul sos.
well bells already told ya bout da onion bits and relish bits. lol

Before there was KFC ...

wow they musta had some kinda deal with KFC or else they just swiped it, cuz this was a commercial in the 70's

Citric acid not only requires no clean-out cycles after use, it also does a MUCH better job of cleaning of all parts, be they glass, metal or plastic.
kewl, how much citric acid do you use for a pot? And it doesn't corrode any parts?

PA - home of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall - now has the most draconian vaping laws in the nation maybe the world.
This absolutely infuriates me!! what are they gonna do, tax stuff you already own as part of the floor tax? :-x
A friend of my used to call Texas Taxas and Massachusetts was Taxachusetts. Reckin now we'll have to add Taxylvania!

I like a White Castle burger but I love a Krystal burger. When I was a kid we would stop late on Saturday night and get a dozen Kristals with cheese and a chicolate shake each. Damn good burger for a postage stamp size. We stop on our way to Florida every time.
Well we finally have our move date. POD wil be delivered on August 29th and we will leave for Florida sometime during the first week of September. Finally! Motorhome goes in the paper tomorrow and if it's nit sold by mid August we'll take it with us. :):thumb::banana:
we used to have a Krystals burgers in Killeen but they apparently closed. Tried em when they opened and they were pretty good. I loved white castle, but definitely prefer mustard on my burgers over mayo.

Got to meet him while working on the film "Avalanche" made right here in the Mat-Su Valley! Quite a guy! And now that you mention it, he was very fond of that name/phrase, even in his History channel show, "Roll Call".
kewl! What did you do on the movie? I love him, so kewl you and kaezz got to meet him!

I probably wont be around tomorrow. It is time for another of our big meat and produce runs to the big city to load up the freezer! By the time I get home and get things put away I am probably going to be too dang tired to boot up the computer.

Of course the next day is devote to portioning and vacuum sealing all of it LOL.
see ya in a couple days. Happy stocking! I know that's a tiring job, but feels good when it's done!

Same for me too. I did get an email from my State representative about this being passed and he was careful to point out that he voted against it...

Here I was... going to help out my friend in Indiana by ordering for her and sending it on.....Now I have to worry about finding somebody in another state to do the same for me...:(
Sent you a PM.
